The Exposition Park campus offers a plethora of outdoor space, especially at Banc of California Stadium, which just received a GBAC Star accreditation. The Fields LA, a restaurant adjacent to the stadium, includes an outdoor patio space and a beer garden so groups can enjoy L.A.’s year-round near perfect weather. Additionally, The Fields LA includes a rooftop event terrace with expansive views of the Los Angeles skyline. With 18,647 square feet, this terrace is the perfect space for a reception or dinner. The Sunset Club within the stadium is another one-of-a-kind event space that was created with the famous L.A. weather in mind. With 7,000 square feet of available space and sweeping views of downtown and the Hollywood Sign, this is the perfect oasis in the heart of L.A.
Next door, the historic Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum has recently undergone a major renovation. With over 100,000 sq ft. of outdoor event spaces to choose from, the Coliseum has spectacular views and iconic architecture that creates epic event backdrops. The 1923 luxury rooftop space in the recently built Scholarship Tower showcases sweeping views of DTLA, while the Peristyle archway can accommodate large activations.
Grand Park & The Music Center Plaza
When it comes to outdoor party venues, Los Angeles has some of the best, like Grand Park, a dynamic 12-acre public park in the heart of Downtown’s cultural and civic center. As one of the largest parks in Los Angeles County, Grand Park features multi-use spaces and lawns that welcome all sizes and styles of events, complete with state-of-the-art multimedia technology and options that provide for flexible set-up.
The adjacent Music Center Plaza also offers a 35,000 square foot urban oasis overlooking the park and the iconic City Hall. After completing a $41 million renovation in 2019, this plaza brings to life the diversity of Los Angeles.
City Market Social House
City Market Social House, a contemporary, beautifully restored warehouse in the Fashion District of Downtown L.A., boasts 14,000 square feet of full service indoor and outdoor space. Their open-air spaces include a patio and an outdoor courtyard, and the venue includes a state-of-the-art kitchen, turnkey event production capabilities, and an optimal location just one mile from the Los Angeles Convention Center. Because of the flexibility of this space, it can transform to host major industry events, award shows, opening and closing receptions, private celebrations and more.
NeueHouse, a private work space for thought leaders from all industries, offers a variety of elevated event spaces at both their Hollywood and Downtown locations. In Hollywood, their impressive interior design is only topped by their 7,000-square-foot rooftop terrace, which boasts stunning views of the city. The Moroccan-inspired furniture, full-service bar, customizable menus and decorative lighting provide an incredible ambiance for outdoor cocktail parties, seated dinners and more.
They don't call L.A. LIVE the most entertaining place on Earth for nothing. The campus is home to four sports teams, two hotels, twenty restaurants and seven event venues, three of which are open-air. Xbox Plaza is the heart of L.A. LIVE, directly across the street from STAPLES Center. At 65,000 square feet with the closure of Chick Hearn Court, it pulses with the energy of billboards and lights and is LA's answer to NYC's Times Square. The Event Deck is a fully customizable space that regularly hosts award show parties and movie premieres. The Terrace at L.A. LIVE (pictured below) is a rooftop space connected to The GRAMMY Museum. The recently-renovated space offers 180-degree views of Downtown and Hollywood.
LA Center Studios
LA Center Studios is one of the most expansive filming locations in the city. You may be surprised to learn that their 20-acre campus is conveniently located in the heart of downtown. With dozens of locations, the property offers 100,000 square feet of outdoor event space including rooftops with city views, a private park and even closed off city streets. As a full-service TV and film studio, this location will give your attendees a taste of the glitz and glam.
Warner Bros. Studios
What better way to welcome your guests to LaLa Land than with an event on an actual movie set? Warner Bros. Studios stages events on their backlot streetscapes to give attendees a taste of show business. From a cabin in the woods to classic New York City brownstones, the studio offers 9 different outdoor locations, each with its own unique feel. In total, you'll have nearly 150,000 square feet of outdoor space to choose from. While the lot is currently closed to events, it will resume bookings in 2021.
Rose Bowl Stadium
As the sports capital of the world, Los Angeles is home to many all-star sports stadiums. For the sports enthusiasts in your group, host your next event or reception at America’s Stadium, the Rose Bowl.
