3 Days of Fun and Games in Los Angeles
We could all use a few laughs these days, and there's no better place than Los Angeles to put a smile on your face. There's comedy shows, theme parks with cartoons come to life, games old and new, and treats and sweets everywhere you look. Isn't fun the best thing to have?
The fun starts at Universal Studios Hollywood, where SUPER NINTENDO WORLD™, The Secret Life of Pets, Despicable Me, and The Simpsons come to life. Explore 40,000 square feet of pop culture at Funko Hollywood. Queue up at one of LA's most beloved hot dog stands. Tonight, enjoy a show at The Groundlings improv theatre, which launched the careers of comedy stars like Will Ferrell and Melissa McCarthy.
Put on your game face for today's Downtown LA itinerary. Rise and shine for a hearty breakfast at The Original Pantry before shopping in the Piñata District. Then it's an afternoon matinee at L.A. LIVE in mind-blowing 4DX and Happy Hour beers with a classic carnival game. The fun continues at the "World’s First Micro-Amusement Park," with everything from old school arcade games to state-of-the-art virtual reality.
Today has it all: thrill rides, laser tag, and stand-up comedy. Start the day at the "Roller Coaster Capital of the World," which includes the DC Universe, The Boardwalk, and Bugs Bunny World. Then it's classic burgers and shakes for lunch and an exciting round of laser tag. At The Hollywood Improv, stand-up comics perform on the same stage that's hosted generations of comedy legends. After the show, nosh at Canter's Deli, a favorite of Mel Brooks, Rodney Dangerfield, and Dick Van Dyke.
