What is Cyanotype Printing?
Cyanotype printing is a historical photographic process that uses a chemical solution to create distinctive monochromatic blue prints through exposure to ultraviolet light, typically sunlight. After exposure, washing the sensitized material in water fixes the image, revealing the characteristic Prussian blue color in the areas that were exposed to light.
