Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree - The Original Farmers Market (Dec. 3)
The Original Farmers Market is decked out in Yuletide finery and ready to welcome the season at "Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree," taking place on Sunday, December 3 from 2-7pm on the Market Plaza. The Holiday Kick-Off will include live music and entertainment, youth performances, kids crafts, family photo ops with our friends from the North Pole and much more.

LAFC vs Houston Western Conference Final (Dec. 2)
The defending MLS Cup champions, LAFC are one win away from returning to the Final! Named to the 2023 MLS Best XI, Dénis Bouanga leads LAFC against the Houston Dynamo FC in the Western Conference Final. Kickoff at BMO Stadium is scheduled for 6:30pm PST.

L.A. Comic Con - LACC (Dec. 1-3)
L.A. Comic Con, the city's largest event for comics, gaming, sci-fi, and pop culture, returns to the Los Angeles Convention Center in what is expected to be one of the most epic and interactive Con events of the year. After breaking new ground in 2022 with a record 126,000 total fans in attendance, event organizers are leveling up the Con experience yet again by doubling down on some of the most popular elements and activations of last year.

The Upcycled Self: An Evening with Black Thought - USC (Dec. 2)
Tariq Trotter, better known as Black Thought, is the platinum-selling, GRAMMY Award-winning co-founder of The Roots. In celebration of the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop and Trotter's new book, The Upcycled Self: A Memoir on the Art of Becoming Who We Are, Trotter will discuss his life and work in an intimate conversation with Jason King, Dean of the USC Thornton School of Music.

A Current Affair - Cooper Design Space (Dec. 2-3)
A Current Affair is hosting its must-shop Vintage Marketplace at the Cooper Design Space in Downtown LA, featuring 70+ vintage retailers and private dealers from both coasts and beyond. Shop an array of vintage clothing, accessories and jewelry from the Victorian Era through today. Exhibitors include local favorites Recess, Spanish Moss, The Corner Store and Moth Food; James Veloria (New York), Lucky Vintage (Seattle), Mercy Vintage (Oakland), Raleigh Vintage (NC) and more.
The holiday show is taking place from noon to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3. Tickets are on sale at Eventbrite. General Admission for either day is $15. Preview Admission (10am entry on Saturday) is $35. A Weekend Pass, which includes Preview Admission, is $45.

Venice Sign Holiday Lighting (Dec. 2)
Spanning Windward Avenue at Pacific, the Venice Sign is a modern-day replica of the original that was installed in 1905 by Abbot Kinney, the legendary founder of the "Venice of America."
Now in its 12th year, the Venice Sign Holiday Lighting has become a beloved tradition, when the Venice Sign's lights change from white to red and green for the holidays. Windward Avenue east of Pacific Avenue will be closed for the free, family-friendly event, which will take place from 6pm to 9pm on Saturday, December 2. The festivities start at 6:15pm on Windward and the holiday lighting is scheduled for 8pm.
New for 2023, Venice's streets will come alive with photo ops with Santa and complimentary carnival games at the "Windward Wonderland"; and a tantalizing array of free food and drinks at the "Holiday Taste of Venice." Live performances will feature GRAMMY Award winners, Rock & Roll Hall of Famers, and emerging local talent.

Craft Contemporary Holiday Marketplace (Dec. 2-3)
Located on Museum Row, Craft Contemporary is hosting its annual Holiday Marketplace on Saturday and Sunday, December 2-3. LA-based makers will be offering jewelry, ceramics, vintage and contemporary textiles, craft supplies, housewares and more. Admission is $9 on Saturday (includes museum entry) and pay-what-you-can on Sunday.
To accompany the Holiday Marketplace, the museum is also hosting craft workshops - learn candle-making, Japanese furoshiki gift-wrapping techniques, and how to make stunning 3D snowflake decorations! CicLAvia South LA (Dec. 3)
Presented by Metro, CicLAvia South LA is opening up streets connecting Leimert Park and Historic South Central so you can jog, ride, bike, skate, run, walk, skateboard, spectate, and enjoy the route however you want. The routes are welcoming to people of all ages and abilities! CicLAvia South LA is taking place on Sunday, December 3 from 9am to 3pm.

Exotikon Christmas Show - Mayan Theatre (Dec. 3)
Taking over the historic Mayan Theatre in Downtown LA, the Exotikon Christmas Show is an all-day Exotica-themed holiday shopping and entertainment experience. Shop an eclectic group of vendors, imbibe with Tonga Hut, and enjoy Mambo Diabolico's Rise of the Sun Goddess, a recreation of an evening with the legendary Yma Sumac featuring Lena Marie Cardinale.

Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade (Dec. 3)
The San Pedro Chamber of Commerce and the San Pedro Historic Waterfront Business Improvement District present the 43rd Annual Spirit of San Pedro Holiday Parade on Sunday, December 3.
Led by "Timmy" the Duck, the parade will take place from 1-3 pm in Historic Downtown San Pedro. Thousands line the parade route each year to cheer on the bands, drill teams, schools and nonprofit organizations, elected officials and celebrities as they make their way through Downtown San Pedro.
The parade will start at 13th Street and Pacific Avenue, turn on 6th Street, and end at 6th and Palos Verdes Streets.
