MoMA Contenders - Hammer Museum (Dec. 2)
Each year, New York’s Museum of Modern Art selects the films that they think will be the most influential of the year. Here in Los Angeles, the Hammer Museum will be screening those films over two-and-a-half weeks, beginning with Guillermo del Toro’s take on Frankenstein on Tuesday, December 2. Other films in the series include Palme d’Or winner It Was Just an Accident on December 9, Paul Thomas Anderson’s action-packed thriller One Battle After Another on December 18 and more. Some screenings will include guest appearances.

Home Alone in Concert - Walt Disney Concert Hall (Dec. 5)
David Newman conducts the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra in a performance of John Williams’ score for Home Alone for this special 35th anniversary screening of the holiday classic. Home Alone in Concert opens on Friday, December 5 and runs through the weekend with matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday.

Nutcracker Fantasy - Philosophical Research Society (Dec. 5)
Philosophical Research Society’s 7th House film program presents a 16mm screening of the 1979 stop-motion Nutcracker Fantasy. Produced by Sanrio and directed by Takeo Nakamura, who had previously animated for Rankin-Bass, the film is rarely screened and previous showings at PRS have sold out, so act fast if you want to see it.

A Drag Queen Christmas - Dolby Theatre (Dec. 7)
It’s time for A Drag Queen Christmas! The long-running tour returns to the Dolby Theatre for its 2025 run. This time around, Nina West hosts a night of performances by Lexi, Shea Coulee, Jewels Sparkles, Crystal Methyd, Suzie Toot, Lydia B Kollins and Brooke Lynn Hytes. VIP Meet & Greet packages are available.

To Live and Die in L.A. 40th Anniversary feat. Wang Chung - The Belasco (Dec. 3)
It’s been 40 years since the release of William Friedkin’s neo-noir classic, To Live and Die in L.A. To celebrate the occasion, Wang Chung will perform their synth score live for the first time on Wednesday, December 3 at The Belasco. Hosted by local promoters Restless Nites, this one-time-only event will also include a Q&A with the band, activations, exclusive merchandise and more.

Twin Shadow - Regent (Dec. 3)
Twin Shadow, who releases his seventh album, Cadet, on November 20, plays the Regent Theatre on Wednesday, December 3, with his original live band lineup to celebrate both the new full-length and the 15th anniversary of his debut album, Forget. The one-off performance will include all of Forget and much of Cadet, as well as other Twin Shadow jams. Twin Shadow collaborator Blackpaw will open the show.

Aterciopelados - Regent (Dec. 6)
Colombian rock greats Aterciopelados are touring in support of their latest album, Genes Rebeldes. Catch them at The Regent on Saturday, December 6.

Say Anything & Motion City Soundtrack - The Wiltern (Dec. 7)
Say Anything and Motion City Soundtrack bring their co-headlining tour to The Wiltern on Sunday, December 7. Oso Oso opens the night.

Children of the Winter Kingdom - The Actors’ Gang (Dec. 4-20)
Children of the Winter Kingdom: The Bonkers Adventures of Holly and Spruce makes its world premiere on December 4 at The Actors’ Gang in Culver City. Bringing together music and puppetry for this original holiday fairy tale, Children of the Winter Kingdom runs through December 20 with a Sunday matinee on December 14 and “pay what you can” shows on Thursdays.

A Very Alaska Christmas Show - Regent Theatre (Dec. 2)
RuPaul's Drag Race superstar Alaska launches her holiday tour at Downtown LA’s Regent Theatre on Tuesday, December. Tickets for A Very Alaska Christmas are running low, so act fast! Reserved seats and VIP Meet & Greet tickets are available for this 18+ performance.

Pachanga Boys - 6th St. Bridge (Dec. 5)
It’s been seven years since Pachanga Boys last played Los Angeles, but the esteemed DJ duo of Superpitcher and Rebolledo return on Friday, December 5, to play an open-to-close set under the 6th Street Bridge.

Anna of the North - The Roxy (Dec. 5)
With a string of new singles, including the infectious “Waiting for Love” out now, Norwegian pop singer Anna of the North plays The Roxy on Friday, December 5.

Tijuana No! Ska Night - Paramount (Dec. 6)
Mexican ska favorites Tijuana No! head to Boyle Heights on Saturday, December 6 for an all-ages show at The Paramount. Early bird tickets are available on Dice now.

Analog Outlaw - 2220 Arts + Archives (Dec. 6)
Physical media fest Analog Outlaw returns to 2220 Arts + Archives on Saturday, December 6, with three rooms full of vinyl, VHS, magazines and oh so many books. Vendors for the 18+ event will include indie label Yoga Records, horror zine Midnight Companions, MutMuz Gallery and many more.

Glitterbox - Avalon Hollywood (Dec. 6)
Glitterbox, the famed, international house and disco party, heads to Los Angeles on Saturday, December 6, for a night at Avalon Hollywood with DJs Louie Vega, Heidi Lawden, Yasmin, Shaun Ross and more TBA.

Cheer on your favorite teams at LA's world-class sports venues!

LA Lakers vs. Phoenix Suns - Crypto.com Arena (Dec. 1)
The Lakers game against the Phoenix Suns on December 1, will be their last at home until Christmas Day, so if you watch to catch the home team at Crypto.com Arena, make sure you get tickets for this Monday night matchup.

LA Kings vs. Washington Capitals - Crypto.com Arene (Dec. 2)
The LA Kings play the first of three home games on December 2, when they go up against the Washington Capitals on the ice at Crypto.com Arena. The puck drops at 7:30pm for this Tuesday night match. Catch them again on Thursday, December 4 and Saturday, December 6, for two games against the Chicago Blackhawks.

La Bohème - Dorothy Chandler Pavilion (Nov. 22 - Dec. 14)
