Black Movie Soundtrack V - Hollywood Bowl (Sep. 10)
Derrick Hodge conducts the Color of Noize Orchestra for the fifth Black Movie Soundtrack concert at the Hollywood Bowl. The celebration of Black music in film includes tributes to Quincy Jones and Prince, as well as special appearances from D-Nice, Warren G, Jennifer Holliday, Bun B, Morris Day, Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis, Full Force and Miles Caton. Actor and comedian Craig Robinson hosts.

Romeo, Juliet & Dance Theatre of Harlem - Hollywood Bowl (Sep. 11)
Dance Theatre of Harlem brings Romeo and Juliet to the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, September 11, as conductor Jonathan Heyward leads the LA Phil in Tchaikovsky and Prokofiev compositions based on the Shakespeare tragedy.

Noche de Cumbia - The Ford (Sep. 13)
The third annual Noche de Cumbia is taking place at The Ford on Saturday, September 13. This year, Mexico’s Sonido Gallo Negro headlines the event, which also features a performance from local É Arenas.

Feria Independencia Festival - The Torch (Sep. 13)
The Feria Independencia Festival kicks off on Saturday, September 13 at The Torch at the LA Coliseum with performances from Elvis Crespo, Grupo La República del El Salvador, Los Miseria Cumbia Band, Los Tres Huitecos, amongst others. The all-ages celebration will also feature Guatemalan and Salvadoran food, cultural activities and more.

"Alien" - Hollywood Forever (Sep. 13)
Cinespia’s summer season of movie screenings at Hollywood Forever comes to a close on Saturday, September 13 with Ridley Scott’s sci-fi horror classic, Alien. Gates open at 6:15pm, so plan on early arrival to take advantage of the bar, grill and photobooth before the movie starts at 8pm.
Jaws: The Exhibition - The Academy Museum (Sep. 14, 2025 - Jul. 26, 2026)
The Academy Museum’s first exhibition dedicated to a single film opens on Sunday, September 14. Jaws: The Exhibition sinks its teeth into Steven Spielberg’s 1975 blockbuster to commemorate the film’s 50th anniversary. Featuring interactive displays and original artifacts, the exhibit, which runs until next summer, will take guests behind the scenes of the influential movie. There will be a 4K screening of Jaws at 6:30pm on opening day.

Wardruna - The Greek (Sep. 8)
Wardruna, the Norwegian experimental folk band known for their use of traditional instruments and dramatic songs that invoke the sounds of nature, bring their current world tour to Los Angeles on Monday, September 8. The band headlines The Greek Theatre with support from Chelsea Wolfe.

Hot Chip - The Fonda (Sep. 9)
Hot Chip’s greatest hits collection, Joy in Repetition, is out in early September and the British electronic pop outfit will follow it up with just two shows in the United States, one of which is at The Fonda on Tuesday, September 9.

NBA YoungBoy - Crypto.com Arena (Sep. 9-10)
NBA YoungBoy, who dropped both his eighth album, MASA, and a mixtape, Deshawn, this summer, kicks off two nights at Crypto.com Arena on Tuesday, September 9, with support from DeeBaby and K3. He’ll be playing on Wednesday as well.

Teddy Swims - The Greek (Sep. 9-10)
Since releasing the smash hit single “Lose Control,” Teddy Swims has been riding high. He released the second half of his debut album, I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Pt. 2), earlier this year and will be bringing his current tour to The Greek Theatre on September 9 and 10. Tickets are going fast!

Provoker - The Fonda (Sep. 10)
Bay Area post-punks Provoker, whose latest album, Mausoleum, came out last spring, headline The Fonda on Wednesday, September 10. Plan to arrive early to catch opening sets from Salt Lake City synthpop outfit Choir Boy and locals Touching Ice.

Anamanaguchi - The Wiltern (Sep. 12)
Anamanaguchi brings their Buckwild Tour, named for the raucous song from the band’s latest album, Anyway, to The Wiltern on September 12. Be Your Own Pet opens the Friday night show.

Lil Wayne - Crypto.com Arena (Sep. 12)
Lil Wayne, who released his fourteenth album, Tha Carter VI, earlier this summer, heads to Crypto.com Arena on Friday, September 12, with support from Tyga.

Le SSerafim - Kia Forum (Sep. 12)
Few tickets remain to catch K-pop sensation Le SSerafim at Kia Forum on Friday, September 12, so act fast for your chance to see the Easy Crazy Hot Tour in person.

Fireworks Finale: Chicago - Hollywood Bowl (Sep. 12-14)
The Hollywood Bowl’s Fireworks Finale takes place over the course of three nights, Friday, September 12 through Sunday, September 14, featuring Chicago performing hits like “Saturday in the Park” and many more from their deep 40-album catalog.

Cartoon Club: Robin Hood - New Beverly Cinema (Sep. 13)
A long time ago, in a faraway land, legend tells an extraordinary tale of courage and friendship. Get ready for swashbuckling adventure, unforgettable characters, memorable music, and lots of laughs in Disney’s Robin Hood. Heroic Robin Hood – along with his trusted companion Little John and his devoted band of merry men – conjures up one famously funny and daring deed after another to outfox greedy Prince John and bring happiness to the residents of Sherwood Forest.

ESG - The Regent (Sep. 10)
ESG, the late '70s punk-funk band whose songs like “Dance” and “Moody” remain club classics, and whose cult hit “UFO” has been sampled literally hundreds of times, play The Regent in Downtown LA on Wednesday, September 10.

Desire - Masonic Lodge (Sep. 11)
With a new album, Games People Play, out now, Desire heads back to Hollywood Forever’s Masonic Lodge with Johnny Jewel on Wednesday, September 11. This is the only LA show for the two Italians Do It Better artists and synthwave faves during their current North American tour.

Beach Fossils - The Regent (Sep. 11)
Long-running indie rock outfit Beach Fossils returns to Los Angeles and headlines The Regent on Thursday, September 11, with support from Launder and girlpuppy. The New York-based band will play 1720 on Friday, September 12 with the same opening acts.

SAADI - Zebulon (Sep. 12)
SAADI, the solo project of LA-based multidisciplinary artist Boshra AlSaadi, who previously played with bands like TEEN and Janka Nabay and the Bubu Gang, celebrates the release of her sophomore album, Birds of Paradise, at Zebulon on Friday, September 12 with support from Alice TM. There’s no cover, but you can RSVP on Dice.

Glōm Fest - Lodge Room (Sep. 12)
Darkwave tour Glōm Fest lands at Lodge Room in Highland Park on Friday, September 12, with an international lineup that includes The Awakening from South Africa and French goth outfit The Cemetary Girlz, as well as Aeon Sable, Dark Chisme, The Royal Ritual and Matte Blvck. The event will also feature exclusive merchandise sales to benefit bat conservation efforts.

20 Years of Innervisions - Sears Building (Sep. 13)
Innervisions, the label founded by DJs/producers Dixon and Âme, celebrates its 20th anniversary in Los Angeles with a bash on The Dock at the Historic Sears Building in Boyle Heights. Âme and Dixon lead the lineup, which also includes Jimi Jules, Julya Karma, Ry X and Trikk.

Cursive - Zebulon (Sep. 13)
Still going strong after 30 years, emo faves Cursive dropped their most recent album, Devourer, last year. They’ll headline Zebulon with support from Chris Crisci (The Appleseed Cast, Old Canes, Black x Sea) on Saturday, September 13.

Unwound - Teragram Ballroom (Sep. 13)
Post-hardcore legends Unwound celebrate the 30th anniversary of their album The Future of What at Teragram Ballroom on Saturday, September 13. lowercase opens the all-ages show.



Sports
Cheer on your favorite teams at LA's world-class sports venues!
LA Dodgers vs. Colorado Rockies - Dodger Stadium (Sep. 8-10)
The Dodgers open their series against the Colorado Rockies on Monday, September 8 with LA Kings Night. The collab jersey between the two home teams is not a stadium-wide giveaway, so be sure to purchase the special ticket to score one. Tuesday’s game will be Guatemalan Heritage Night (also a special ticket) and on Wednesday all fans in attendance will receive a Shohei Ohtani Bobblehead.


LA Sparks vs Las Vegas Aces - Crypto.com Arena (Sep. 11)
The LA Sparks close out the WNBA regular season at home with Fan Appreciation Night on Wednesday, September 11, when they go up against the Las Vegas Aces. Tipoff is at 7pm.

Independence Cup 2025 - LA Coliseum (Sep. 14)
Feria Independencia continues with the Independence Cup 2025 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Sunday, September 14. The soccer match pits Mixco FC from Guatemala against Alianza FC from El Salvador. Kickoff is at 5:30pm.

Camille A. Brown & Dancers - Ahmanson Theatre (Sep. 12-14)
Tony-nominated director and choreographer Camille A. Brown brings the West Coast premiere of I Am to the Music Center’s Ahmanson Theatre on Friday, September 12. The show, recommended for people ages 8 and up, runs through the weekend with evening performances on Friday and Saturday and a matinee on Sunday.

"Oedipus the King, Mama!" - Getty Villa (Sep. 11-13)
Troubadour Theater, aka the Troubies, celebrates their 30th anniversary with Oedipus the King, Mama!, a production that merges Sophocles with the music of Elvis Presley. Performances at the Getty Villa will run through September 27. All shows are at 8pm, with check-in beginning two hours prior. Prix fixe dinner packages are available as well.
