Gallery 839 Opening: Unfinished Paintings by Nic Gregory

Step back from the finish line, because that is where life is lived.
Most of the world will focus on the end product, the best of the best, achieving perfection. Nic Gregory has always seen the beauty in the rough sketch, painter’s blocking in shapes, and the simple joy of mixing and finding your color of choice. This is where art has the most life. Through Unfinished, Nic wanted to highlight the sketch that ends up hidden under layers of paint. Allowing the simple shapes and patterns to sing. Bringing sketch and line work to the forefront, and giving color a platform to be bold. Allow yourself to experience the Unfinished and take inspiration and joy for your own artwork.
