22nd Annual TARFEST - "A Day in the Park"

LAUNCH LA¬ is proud to present the 22nd annual TARFEST – A Day in the Park, music and arts festival, held in partnership with Pan Pacific Park, 7600 Beverly Blvd, Los Angeles on Saturday, June 14, 2025, from 2pm-8pm. The one-day-only festival is produced by the non-profit arts organization LAUNCH LA and is Free + All Ages.

TARFEST celebrates LA’s cultural diversity with musical programming curated by one of LA’s top Creative Producers/Cultural Programmers and DJ’s, Azul Amaral. Azul is formerly the Program Manager of Gloria Molina Grand Park and Creative Director of Grand Performances. Other performers include DJ, curator of sound, vinyl vixen and founder of all-female vinyl collective, Red Light Vinyl, Jéli Daniel aka CHROMEQUEEN. Emcee/DJ Kavione Griffith aka KG SuperStar brings the rhythmic, vibrant pulse of the Caribbean to everything he does. His current residency & creation is in Los Angeles, a new rooftop open air day party experience called UTOPIA at The Godfrey Hotel Hollywood. Award winning DJ and former KCRW 89.9 personality Garth Trinidad promises an eclectic, modern musical landscape. Musician/producer Alberto López runs a music production house and independent vinyl pressing plant. Many projects he has worked on have received praise from DJs and taste makers around world. Cuban born Dayren Santamaria and been playing the violin since the age of 8. Her passion for music and collaboration had taken her around the world and now leads her to the TARFEST stage.

Catering to all ages, TARFEST offers Free Art-Making and Cultural Activities presented by UCLA Health throughout the day with local partners like the Korean Cultural Center, The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures, The Tar Pits Museum, the Petersen Automotive Museum, Gloria Molina Grand Park and others.

Back again this year, Artisan Booths, curated by Runway Boutique, will feature handcrafted jewelry, specialty goods and unique wares for purchase. Some of the best Gourmet Food Trucks in LA will offer nourishment for the day. Intergenerational hip-hop and breakdancing collective JUiCE (Justice by Uniting in Creative Energy) will conduct dance workshops as well. WAYMO will provide insight into state-of-the-art ride-sharing vehicles while METRO also offers recent news and information on our local transportation solutions.
