During the 2024 Summer Edition of Dine LA Restaurant Week (July 12-26), you can enjoy special prix fixe lunch and dinner menus under the sun and stars. Agua Viva
Agua Viva ("Living Water") is a chic rooftop restaurant from Michelin-starred chef José Andrés at the Conrad Los Angeles. Agua Viva's $45 Dine LA Lunch Menu starts with Croquetas de Cangrejo (Jumbo Lump Crab Fritters), Gazpacho Algeciras or B&B Salad. Entree options include Grilled Octopus, Smashed Txuleburger or Avocado Toast. Highlights of the $75 Dinner Menu include "Build Your Own" Handrolls (salmon or eggplant), Pollo al Ajillo and a Tropical Sundae with coconut rice pudding, mango sorbet, dragon fruit and passionfruit.
Amour Weho
Located in the former Dominick's space on Beverly, the stylish Amour features the French-Asian cuisine of Dany Chavez-Bello, an alum of the acclaimed El BullÃ. The $85 Dinner Menu starts with New Caledonia Blue Prawn Carpaccio, Smoked White Asparagus Tartare or Angus Prime Steak Tartare. The Chawanmushi ($25 supplement) is a must - Périgord truffle, uni and trout roe. For entree, choose from Lavender Duck Breast, Steak au Poivre, or Salmon with pistachio crust, bulgur and moringa sauce. Dessert offers a choice of Basque Cheesecake or Traditional Mille Feuille.
a.o.c.
a.o.c., the pioneering wine bar opened by the James Beard Award winning duo of Suzanne Goin and Caroline Styne, features a patio with ivy-covered walls and a brick fireplace - it's one of the loveliest restaurant courtyards in LA. Both the original and Brentwood location are participating in Restaurant Week.
Priced at $65, the four-course Dinner Menu offers a choice of shared entree: Soft Polenta (wild mushrooms, Swiss chard, mascarpone & gremolata) Scottish Salmon (fennel, oregano, Sicilian capers, Kalamata olives), Beef Brisket (cornbread pudding, cherry tomato, black olive) and the signature Spanish Fried Chicken with romesco aïoli and chili-cumin butter.
Cabra - The Hoxton
Stephanie Izard made Top Chef history when she became the first woman to win the title in Season 4 of the popular culinary competition. Izard's Peruvian-inspired Cabra is situated atop The Hoxton, a revamped 1922 Beaux Arts gem in the Downtown LA Fashion District.
The $55 family-style Dinner Menu starts with Avocado Dip, then a choice of Bass or Salmon Ceviche. Next, choose from Chicken Thigh Skewers, Chorizo Skewers or Tomato, Blueberry & Chorizo Salad. Entrees for two offer Wood-Fired Skirt Steak or Chili Butter Basted Bass. Save room for Picarones or Sticky Toffee Pudding!
Castaway
Perched in the hills above Burbank, Castaway offers spectacular views from its expansive patio. Castaway's $55 Dine LA Dinner Menu starts with a Mini Seafood Tower, Wedge Salad, Crispy Brussels Sprouts or Truffle Popcorn Chicken. For entree, choose from Icelandic Salmon, Roasted Half Chicken, Wild Mushroom Pappardelle Pasta, Steak Frites or Dry Aged 18oz Ribeye ($20 supplement). Dessert offers a choice of decadent Chocolate Lava Cake or Key Lime Pie topped with torched Swiss meringue.
City Cruises
City Cruises is offering a special two-hour Dine LA Premier Brunch & Lunch Cruise on July 13 and 20! Enjoy views of Marina del Rey, sip bottomless Mimosas and dive into the buffet-style menu, which includes Breakfast Pastries and Meats (Applewood Smoked Bacon & Pork Sausage Links), Scottish Smoked Salmon Display, French Toast, Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta Salad, Hand-Carved Tri-Tip Steak, veg-friendly Baked Orecchiette Pasta, Kid's Station (Chicken Tenders & French Fries) and Signature Dessert Station.
Highlights of the 90-minute Dinner Cruise (offered July 13, 20, 26) include the vegan Roasted Vegetables & Grains and Roasted Tri-Color Potatoes; Birria Style Chicken, Oven Roasted Salmon, and Caribbean Jerk Braised Pork with plantains, black beans, garlic and scallions.
Dear John's
A favorite of generations of celebs like Oscar winners Frank Sinatra and Jamie Lee Curtis, the landmark Dear John's in Culver City is currently the home of an ongoing pop-up by acclaimed LA chefs Hans Röckenwagner and Josiah Citrin.
The $65 Dinner Menu starts with a classic Caesar Salad, Ahi Tuna Tartare or Oysters Rockefeller. For entree, choose from Prime Sirloin Steak Diane, Chicken Parmesan, Salmon or Prime Ribeye ($20 supplement). Sides include Truffle Mac & Cheese and Broccolini with chili, lemon and breadcrumbs. Finish with Mascarpone Cheesecake or Chocolate Crunch Cake.
Eataly L.A. - Capri
Take a culinary trip to southern Italy at Eataly LA's Capri with fresh seafood, traditional pastas, a limoncello focused beverage program and regional Italian wines.
For Restaurant Week, Capri is offering a 2-course Lunch Menu and 3-course Dinner Menu - both start with an Amuse Bouche of Olive Bread Crostini e Stracciatella. Antipasti options include Insalata Estiva, Burrata Con Carciofi, Insalata Castelfranco, Fiori Di Zucca and Gamberi Alla Griglia (grilled head-on tiger shrimp, $6 supplement). Mains feature Spaghetti Alla Nerano, Ravioli Caprese, Mezzi Paccheri Al Ragù Napoletano, and a pair of $10 supplements: Housemade Scialatielli and Grilled Nordic BLue Salmon Filet. Dinner adds a Sweet Milk Panna Cotta with mixed berries and almond streusel crumble.
Firefly
A stalwart of the Studio City dining scene since 2002, Firefly boasts one of LA's best patios - set against a green hillside, complete with romantic cabanas and a retractable roof. Flickering fireplaces, iron light fixtures, and a back bar add to the alluring ambience.
The $65 three-course Dinner Menu starts with an Amuse of House Sparkling or Salmon Tartare; then a choice of Meatballs, Bigeye Tuna Tartare or Little Gem Salad. Gracias Madre
Celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2024, Gracias Madre is renowned for its organic, plant-based Mexican cuisine served indoors or on the expansive patio, where 100-year-old olive trees, couch/beds, and a fireplace create a warm and relaxing vibe.
Gracias Madre is offering a two-course Lunch Menu ($25) and a $35 three-course Dinner Menu, which starts with a Caesar Salad, Ceviche or Queso Fundido. For entree, choose from Potato Pimento Flautas, Mushroom Quesadilla or Burrito En Salsa. Dessert is a choice of Chocolate Brownie or Tres Leches Cake.
The Highlight Room
Spanning 11,000 square feet of the Dream Hollywood's entire top floor, The Highlight Room boasts incomparable views from the Hollywood Sign to Downtown LA. The $35 Dine LA Lunch Menu starts with a choice of Tuna Poke Wonton Tacos, Lollipop Chicken Wings or Caesar Salad. For entree, choose from Spicy Tomato Rigatoni, Grilled Branzino, Crispy Chicken Sandwich or Angry Maria. Entrees for the $65 Dinner Menu swap Chicken Sandwich and Branzino with Roasted Chicken and Steak Frites. Dessert options include Ice Cream / Sorbet, Basque Cheesecake and Strawberry Shortcake.
L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele
L'Antica Pizzeria da Michele is a legendary Naples pizzeria that many Americans first discovered when Julia Roberts dined there in the 2010 movie Eat Pray Love. Twin patios are the stars at the sprawling restaurant, which features an exhibition kitchen for head pizzaiolo Michele Rubini and his crew, who preside over a wood-fired pizza oven lined with blue and white tiles.
Along with the $25 Lunch Menu, the family-style Dinner Menu ($65) starts with Antipasto Misto Da Michele. Next, choose from Zuppa Di Pesce (seafood soup), Lasagna Bolognese or Pizza Al Formaggi (four cheeses, parma prosciutto, balsamic reduction). Piccoli Dolci (dessert board) offers the sweet finish.
LA Cha Cha Cha
Follow the neon green lime to LA Cha Cha Chá, a rooftop hidden gem in the Downtown LA Arts District. Like the Mexico City original, the spacious restaurant's Mid-Century design draws influences from Acapulco to Palm Springs.
For Restaurant Week, LA Cha Cha Chá's $55 Lunch and $65 Dinner Menus feature a Brined Double-Bone Pork Chop, served with a Pig Ear & Frisée Salad and house salsa.
Manuela
Located at the Hauser & Wirth gallery in the Downtown LA Arts District, Manuela is featuring a $55 Lunch Menu that starts with their addictive Cream Biscuits and Steen's butter. First course options include Smoked Albacore Dip, Market Lettuces and Shrimp Aguachile. For entree, choose from Fried Chicken Sandwich, Venison Burger, Laughing Bird Shrimp Roll, Hen of the Woods Mushroom, Black Bean Chilaquiles or House Made Andouille. Finish with Elote Corn Cake with lime cream, Aleppo, Urfa, corn nuts and toasted cotija.
Marco Polo - Silver Lake Pool & Inn
Located at the Silver Lake Pool & Inn, Marco Polo is offering three-course Lunch and Dinner Menus priced at $25 and $45, respectively. Appetizer options include Baked Clams with Calabrian Salsa and the veg-friendly Wild Mushroom Crostone. Entrees include Roasted Bass with Salsa Verde, Linguine Vongole and Paccheri Alla Vodka. For dessert, indulge in Chocolate Budino with dulce de leche whipped cream and pizzelles.
Openaire - LINE LA
Situated on the roof of the LINE LA in Koreatown, Openaire is a collaboration with two-star Michelin Chef and native Angeleno, Josiah Citrin. Openaire is offering a two-course Lunch Menu for $25; and a three-course family-style Dinner Menu ($55) that starts with House Milk Bread, White Peaches & Burrata or Ahi Tuna Tartare ($7 supplement). Mains & Sides include Shrimp Scampi, Grilled Prime London Sirloin, Charcoal-Grilled Hen of the Woods Mushrooms and Roasted Japanese Sweet Potato. For dessert, enjoy Chocolate & Peanut Butter Crunch Cake or Strawberry Shortcake.
Rossoblu
Named a 2023 Michelin Bib Gourmand, Rossoblu is a Northern Italy inspired gem located in Downtown LA's City Market South. Rossoblu's $55 three-course Dinner Menu starts with House-Cured Testa, Market Zucchini Alla Parmigiana or Mackerel Gratinato. For entree, choose from Beef Brisket Falsomagro, Grilled Ocean Trout or Busiate. Finish with Polacca Aversana or Housemade Sorbetto.
Saddle Peak Lodge
