For a classy brunch and celeb spotting, Crossroads Kitchen is the place to be. Chef Tal Ronnen (whom Oprah called “the best vegan chef in America”) opened the original Crossroads on Melrose in March 2013. A second location debuted in The Commons at Calabasas in October 2022.

Wet your whistle with a bottomless Mimosa or housemade Sangria, then tuck into the Bagel Tower with Yeastie Boys mini-bagels, kelp caviar, smoked carrot lox, smoked "whitefish" salad (made from fresh hearts of palm) and more. Brunch plates include the Crossroads Benedict with potato rosti and seasonal fruit; Stuffed French Toast with house breakfast sausages; and deep dish Sicilian pizzas (GFO). Save room for the Caramel Chocolate Popcorn Tart with crunchy puffed rice, popcorn crémeux and vanilla chantilly.

Available at the Flore weekend brunch, the Biscuits & Gravy with greens and potatoes may be the only meal you’ll need all day. Along with the weekend-only Country Breakfast, enjoy standards like breakfast burritos, tofu scrambles, French toasts, pancakes and waffles, with an extensive juice and smoothie selection to boot. Sip a fresh organic Mimosa and enjoy an al fresco brunch with favorites like Avocado Toast and "Chicken" + Waffles - gluten-free waffle with crispy oyster mushrooms, savory onion gravy, maple butter and maple syrup.

The bento-inspired Jewel Box includes Japanese sweet potato, avocado, black beans, garlicky greens, turmeric tofu, ume kraut, amaranth-pumpkin crunch, and miso-ginger drizzle. Tempeh bacon, veggie sausage and garlicky greens make great add-ons to any dish. Pro tip: get there early for fresh donuts!

Huevos Rancheros offers a choice of tofu scramble, potato tofu chorizo or eggs covered in housemade enchilada sauce, cashew cheese, cilantro cream, black beans, slaw, pepitas, and green onion with Kernel of Truth corn tortillas.

The Psychedelic Daalipop features red lentil daal topped with cucumber mint salad, mint chutney, tikka roasted mushrooms and cauliflower, served with coconut brown rice and garlic herb chapati.

A favorite from the OG Kitchen Mouse menu, Moros Cakes includes flavorful black bean and brown rice patties with tangy cilantro ginger chutney, a dash of chipotle cream, and serrano slaw.

The Kid's Menu includes a gluten- and nut-free Silver Dollar Pancake Special; and Grilled Cheese with Follow Your Heart provolone cheese on buttery millet toast.
