Musichead Gallery proudly presents Simply the Best: The Power and Perseverance of Tina Turner, a photography exhibition celebrating the undeniable spirit and legacy of the Queen of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Featuring more than 20 unforgettable images captured by 11 acclaimed photographers, this exhibition traces Tina Turner's extraordinary journey, from her explosive rise as the dynamic frontwoman of Ike & Tina Turner to her rebirth as a solo powerhouse.

After breaking free from her abusive marriage, Tina Turner defied the odds, reclaiming her voice and rewriting her story. Her songwriting weaves personal stories that tap into universal themes of heartbreak, love, and self-discovery. With resilience and raw talent, she staged one of the most iconic comebacks in music history, becoming a global icon and one of the best-selling artists of all time.

This exhibition presents her electrifying live performances, candid moments, and expressive studio portraits along with a display of her best-selling albums and magazine covers. Rolling Stone covers featuring Tina Turner, the magazine’s first Black artist and woman cover star, and promotional posters from throughout her career, will also be on display.
