Free Meals at Los Angeles Restaurants on Veterans Day
On Veterans Day, popular restaurant chains are offering free and discounted meals to veterans and active military with valid ID or proof of service. Unless otherwise noted, the following restaurant deals are available for dine-in only on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023.
Applebee’s: For the 16th year, participating locations are offering veterans and active duty military a free full-size entree from a Veterans Day menu featuring seven fan favorites.
Benihana: Veterans and active-duty military get a free appetizer with purchase of any lunch or dinner entree.
BJ's: Veterans with a valid military ID are invited to enjoy a free Chocolate Chunk Pizookie with any $9.95+ purchase. Veterans who spend more than $14.95 for dine-in or takeout will receive a bounce back coupon for a free appetizer to redeem between Nov. 12 and Dec. 31, 2023.
Black Angus: Veterans and active-duty military can enjoy a free meal (dine-in only) on Friday, November 10 from noon to 3pm.
California Pizza Kitchen: Veterans and active military are invited to enjoy a complimentary entrée from a special Veterans Day menu at all participating restaurants. Entrée options include pizzas, pastas and full-size salads. Offer includes a non-alcoholic beverage.
Chili's: Veterans and active military receive a free entree from a limited menu that includes Old Timer with Cheese, Chicken Bacon Ranch Quesadillas, Three-Piece Crispers with fries, and Chili or Soup with a side salad. Proof of military service required.
Denny's: All active, non-active and retired military personnel are invited to enjoy a free Original Grand Slam at participating Denny’s on Friday, November 10 from 5am to noon.
Dunkin': Participating locations nationwide are serving a sweet salute to veterans and active duty military: a free donut of their choice on Veterans Day. Offer available in-store only. Not available for orders placed with the Dunkin’ Mobile App.
Fogo de Chão: On Veterans Day Weekend (Nov. 10-12), veterans and active duty military will receive 50% off the Full Churrasco Experience - their guests will also receive a 10% discount. Available for dine-in only.
Hooters: Veterans and active duty military personnel can enjoy a free entrée from the Veterans Day menu with beverage purchase at any participating location across the country. The menu includes 10-piece Boneless Wings, Buffalo Chicken Sandwich, Grilled Chicken Sandwich, Buffalo Chicken Salad and Hooters Burger. Military ID or proof of service required. One offer per person, dine-in only.
IHOP: From 7am to 7pm, participating IHOP restaurants across the country are offering a free stack of Red, White & Blueberry Pancakes – buttermilk pancakes topped with glazed strawberries, blueberry compote and whipped topping – for veterans and active duty military. Dine-in only, one per guest.
Mimi's Bistro + Bakery: With the purchase of a beverage, veterans and active military will receive a complimentary entrée from a select breakfast, lunch or dinner menu. Options include Fried Chicken & Waffles, Brioche French Toast, Four Buttermilk Griddlecakes, Slow-Roasted Turkey, Brioche Cheeseburger, or Mandarin Chicken Salad.
Outback Steakhouse: Active and former service members will receive a free Bloomin’ Onion and a beverage on Veterans Day with purchase of an entree.
Red Lobster: From 11am to 4pm on Veterans Day, veterans, active-duty military and reservists will receive free printed meal vouchers for Veterans Shrimp & Chips - six breaded, butterflied and lightly fried shrimp served with cocktail sauce, crispy French Fries and Coleslaw. Guests need to show valid military ID or proof of service to redeem. The voucher can be redeemed from Monday, November 13 through Sunday, December 10 for dine-in only.
Rock & Brews: Veterans, active military personnel, and first responders get a free Pulled Pork Sandwich or Strawberry Fields Salad at participating locations on Veterans Day. Available for dine-in only, one sandwich or salad per guest.
Starbucks: Active duty service members, reservists, veterans and military spouses will get a free Tall Hot or Cold Brewed Coffee on Veterans Day. In addition, Starbucks is donating $100,000 each to Team Red, White & Blue and the Travis Manion Foundation to support the Veteran community.
Yard House: Veterans and active duty military will receive a complimentary appetizer on November 11. Options include Poke Nachos, Fried Chicken Tenders, Onion Ring Tower, assorted Wings and more. One free appetizer per person, no purchase necessary. Dine-in only.
