Introducing Inside LA: An Inspirational Quarterly Guide to What’s Happening in Los Angeles

Welcome back! We’re excited to reconnect and share the latest about Los Angeles. As you know, LA is an ever-evolving destination, and our spotlight is shining brighter than ever as we gear up for our next era, cementing LA's status as a global destination like never before.

In 2028, LA will join the elite ranks of Paris and London as only the third city in history to host the Olympic games three times. The excitement and allure of Los Angeles begins now as we prepare to host several major events, including NBA All-Star 2026, the 2026 U.S. Women’s Open Championship, FIFA World Cup 2026, and Super Bowl LXI in 2027.

Beyond sports, Los Angeles is experiencing a renaissance in attractions, art, and culture. With the recently opened Intuit Dome, the Los Angeles Clippers’ new $2 billion state-of-the-art arena, and nearly 200 Michelin-recognized restaurants, our sports, entertainment and culinary scenes continue to draw visitors from around the globe.

Our newly-designed guide will make it even easier for you to plan your clients’ Los Angeles trips. Each quarter, you’ll receive information on what’s new across the City of Angels, infrastructure and hotel updates, luxury experiences, and neighborhood spotlights. We’re also asking our team of travel trade experts to share their personal insider tips so that you can offer a local perspective to clients. Los Angeles has plenty of well-known attractions, but it's the hidden gems that truly make this city shine!

Thank you for your continued support in selling Los Angeles to your clients.

With gratitude,

Your Global Tourism Development Team

Neighborhood Series: Downtown LA & The Arts District

Downtown is where LA began in 1781 and today it is a diverse collection of exciting districts. Bunker Hill is filled with must-sees, including the Walt Disney Concert Hall, free museums like The Broad and Museum of Contemporary Art, and the historic Grand Central Market. The vibrant Arts District is bursting with galleries, street art, trendy boutiques, cafes, and restaurants. Downtown LA's Fashion District anchors a vibrant 100-block area where the fragrant Flower District and Sunday's Smorgasburg LA food market create a sensory feast. Nearby, the cultural richness of Chinatown, Little Tokyo, and El Pueblo Historic District flow seamlessly into the South Park neighborhoods, which include the LA Live Entertainment District and GRAMMY Museum.
