After finishing 11-5 in coach Jim Harbaugh's first season, the Los Angeles Chargers enter the 2025 season with high expectations for a deep postseason run. The Bolts kick off the season against the Kansas City Chiefs in São Paulo, Brazil - the first leg of an NFL-leading 37,000-mile travel schedule.
Whether you're a lifelong football fan or a newbie, going to a Chargers game takes some planning in order to have the best experience. From parking and transportation to tailgating and concessions, read on for pro tips on attending an LA Chargers game at SoFi Stadium.

SoFi Stadium
The Chargers play their home games at the state-of-the-art SoFi Stadium, located at Hollywood Park in Inglewood. The 3.1 million square-foot stadium is the largest in the NFL, as well as the first indoor-outdoor stadium.
In February 2022, SoFi Stadium hosted Super Bowl LVI, the eighth time that Los Angeles has hosted the Big Game. It was a Super Sunday for LA - the Rams beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20, and the epic halftime show featured Dr. Dre, Eminem, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and Snoop Dogg. SoFi Stadium will host Super Bowl LXI on Valentine's Day in 2027.
SoFi Stadium hosted the College Football National Championship in January 2023 - No. 1 Georgia routed No. 3 TCU 65-7.
SoFi Stadium will host eight matches of the 2026 World Cup, including the U.S. Men’s National Team (USMNT) opening match on June 12, 2026.
SoFi hosted the CONCACAF Gold Cup Final in July 2023 - Mexico won its record ninth title with a 1-0 victory over Panama; and Mexico vs. Dominican Republic in the Group Stage in June 2025. In March 2025, SoFi hosted the CONCACAF Nations League Final - Mexico beat Panama 2-1 - and will host the final in March 2027.
Along with the LA Memorial Coliseum, SoFi will co-host the Opening Ceremonies of the 2028 Summer Olympics; and will host the Opening Ceremony of the 2028 Paralympics.
The 2.5-acre American Airlines Plaza and 6,000-seat YouTube Theater sit under the same roof canopy and are located adjacent to the stadium.
