The largest Halloween street party in the world happens in West Hollywood! Every year on Oct. 31, 500,000 people take to the streets of Santa Monica Boulevard to enjoy the wild costumes and uninhibited crowds at the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval. The Carnaval features live entertainment on multiple stages, food vendors, and photo stations; and the bars along Santa Monica Boulevard feature drink specials and patio parties. Each year, the West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval culminates with the crowning of the Carnaval's Queen. Previous Queens of the Carnaval include Rihanna, Queen Latifah and WeHo businesswoman Lisa Vanderpump.

The West Hollywood Halloween Carnaval is an all-ages event. No alcohol will be served, but drinks will be available at participating bars lining Santa Monica. The Carnaval runs from 6-11 p.m. After the official party is over, most nearby bars and restaurants continue with the festivities until closing.

Big Top Terror - Two Bit Circus (October 2019)



A spell has been cast on Two Bit Circus! Spanning 38,000 square feet, the "World’s First Micro-Amusement Park" features numerous game zones, from classic coin-ops to the latest in immersive entertainment and multi-person virtual reality. A Hitchcock Halloween - The Theatre at Ace Hotel (Oct. 26, 2019)



Following the October 26 screening of "Psycho" with live orchestra, LA Opera and The Theatre at Ace Hotel invite you to A Hitchcock Halloween, taking place from 10pm to 2am. The annual All Hallows ritual features music, "devilish potions," and all manner of dark arts carrying deep into the witching hour with DJ sets from Restless Nites DJs and special guests. Located at the historic Oviatt Building in Downtown LA, Cicada Club presents a Great Gatsby Halloween Party on Thursday, October 31. Featuring star vocalists Kayre Morrison and Damon Kirsche, Dean Mora and his Haunted Orchestra will take you on a ghostly musical journey to the 1920s and '30s, when the Charleston was the latest dance craze and Flappers, Vamps, Sheiks, and Cads ruled the day. Now in its 14th year, Fred & Jason's Halloweenie is taking over the historic Belasco Theatre in Downtown LA on Friday, October 25. Billed as "the largest and loudest annual gay Halloween fundraiser in Los Angeles," Halloweenie 14 is a costume-required event featuring two dance floors, world-renowned DJs, feverish dancing, multiple bars, celebs, killer photo ops, private cabanas and more. Proceeds from the “Party with a Purpose” benefit the GMCLA’s youth outreach programs.

General Admission is $95 and VIP tickets are $130, which includes a separate line with expedited entry and VIP area with private bar. Tickets are on sale at the GMCLA website.

Taking place on Saturday, October 26, the Haunted Little Tokyo Block Party is a Halloween festival with music and entertainment, local food and retail vendors, 100-foot beer garden, and costume contest with cash prizes. Feed your inner monster with bites from Little Tokyo locals Buttery Popcorn Co., Baldoria DTLA, Cafe Dulce, Hello Stranger, KASIH, Prime Pizza, Rice and Nori, and Takoyaki Tanota. Enjoy food from guest food trucks Steamy Bun Truck and Takuma's Burgers. Discover magical and mischievous finds from Anime Jungle, Goldfish Catch, Japan LA, Lumica USA, TJS Radio and Record Box Truck. Stage performances by Key Kool, DJ Phatrick and special guests. Redbird is hosting Hallows Masquerade on October 31, from 9 p.m. to 2 a.m. featuring food, drinks, music and dancing, theatrics and reverie. The Hallows Masquerade will take place throughout the upper chambers in the former rectory of the deconsecrated cathedral, Vibiana. Hors d’oeuvres will be provided by Redbird | Vibiana chef/owner Neal Fraser, complemented by cocktails from bar director Tobin Shea. On Sunday, October 27, Preux & Proper in Downtown LA hosts the 2nd Annual Big Lebowski Brunch – a Halloween celebration fit for The Dude that features a special menu of themed drinks and dishes. Cocktail highlights include One Hell Of A Caucasian White Russian Frozen Daiquiri (Effen Vodka, St. George Nola Coffee Liqueur) and Enjoying My Coffee - a pick-me-up made with Knob Creek Bourbon, cold brew coffee, Stoneground Guerrero Chocolate, cream and Miracle Mile Orange Bitters. Guests can knock back some Oat Sodas or refreshing half-dozen Miller High Life Ponies on ice for just $8.

The table can start with “I Told That Kraut a Thousand F*cking Times I Don’t Roll On Shabbos” House Andouille Nachos, made with two-day kraut, Thousand Island dressing, gruyere, toasted caraway and pickled mustard seeds. Bar bites include “Those Are Good Burgers, Walter” - an In-N-Out style 2X2 made with Strauss organic grass-fed beef patties on buttered brioche; and the “You Want a Toe? I Can Get You a Toe, Believe Me,” a BBQ fried chicken bánh mi with pig trotter terrine, Thai basil, mint, cilantro, cucumber, jalapeño, and lime crema. StorySLAMs are open-mic storytelling competitions that are open to anyone with a five-minute story to share on the night's theme. Taking place at Los Globos on Wednesday, October 23, The Moth StorySLAM theme is SPOOKY: "Prepare a five-minute story about the moments that made your heart race. Jump up from your seat or hide under the covers. Be it Casper or spider. From butterflies to terror, reveal what makes you uneasy. Shaking in your boots or confronting it head on. A time you wish you could call Scooby and the gang…"

The W Hollywood presents a triple threat of Halloween parties on Friday and Saturday, October 25-26. Angels & Demons (Oct. 25) and the 5th annual Haunted W Hollywood Rooftop (Oct. 26) are taking place on the hotel's Wet Deck. Both events feature panoramic city views and DJs spinning House and Top 40. Also on October 26, the Haunted Monster Hotel is taking over the W's Living Room and the outdoor Station with Open Format DJs and two areas to dance and mingle.

This intimate dinner party takes place on Thursday-Saturday, October 24-26 at a private attic space in the heart of Hollywood. Set in the profane world of Oscar Wilde's most devilish protagonist, the immersive theatrical experience includes musical performances, dance numbers, and colorful dinnertime spectacles. Tickets include a five-course meal from Chef Laurent Quenioux, themed cocktail pairings from Happy Hour Agency, caviar "bumps" from East Boston Oysters, and extravagant gift bags.
