Anime Expo - LACC (July 2 - 5)
The largest anime convention in North America, the Anime Expo (AX) is held annually over July 4th Weekend at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Downtown LA. Each year, the four-day AX welcomes more than 100,000 fans to celebrate Japanese pop culture and experience the Masquerade, Anime Music Video Contest, concerts, and the epic Fashion Show. There's also late-night programming such as dance, video screenings, tabletop and electronic gaming, and open-mic karaoke.
Shrek - Hollywood Forever (July 3)
Cinespia kicks off holiday weekend movie screenings on Friday, July 3, with Shrek at Hollywood Forever. The 25th anniversary screening is all ages and includes DJs, a photoboth and a professional fireworks show following the film.
Gloria Molina Grand Park Summer Block Party
Celebrate an authentic Los Angeles Fourth of July at Gloria Molina Grand Park’s Summer Block Party! Known as the West Coast's largest, free Fourth of July bash, this year's event includes performances from Tatian Tate and LA Tropifunk Collective, DJs Anthony Valadez and Pangea Sound, plus interactive art, a drone show and more.
Area Codes: 2000s Hip-Hop Pool Party and Barbecue - Hotel Figueroa
DJ Sophenom flashes back to the 2000s for Area Codes, this year's Fourth of July pool party and barbecue at Hotel Figueroa. The 21+ event gets started at 1 p.m.
Dodgers vs Padres (July 2 - 5)
The World Champion Dodgers are hosting the San Diego Padres for a four-game series that runs from July 2 through July 5 at Dodger Stadium. Fourth of July festivities include a 250th anniversary fireworks show as well as an A250 commemorative coin giveaway and a Fourth of July picnic blanket ticket package.
America 250 July 4th Concert - Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum
Queen Latifah hosts the America 250 concert, part of the nationwide America's Block Party events on July 4 at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum with performances from Chris Stapleton, Smashing Pumpkins and more. The party starts at 3 p.m. in the Block Party Village, with the concert scheduled for 6 p.m.
"Independence Day" - Rooftop Cinema Club
Rooftop Cinema Club offers a premier outdoor movie experience at LEVEL in Downtown LA. On July 4th, RCC presents a screening of Independence Day (1996) starring Will Smith and Jeff Goldblum. Ticket options include Adirondack Chair, Adirondack + Popcorn and Adirondack Love Seat + Popcorn.
The Beach Boys - Hollywood Bowl (July 2-4)
The Beach Boys, with special guest John Stamos, celebrate America's 250th birthday at Hollywood Bowl with performances on July 2 - 4. They'll be joined by the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra for a set that will include the band's greatest summer hits, as well as a 60th anniversary tribute to fan favorite album, Pet Sounds. All three concerts will include a fireworks show.

Celebrate Independence Day at Universal Studios Hollywood, where you'll cap off a day filled with rides, food and entertainment with a Fourth of July fireworks spectacular.
Star-Spangled Night - Six Flags Magic Mountain
After you've enjoyed the thrills of Apocalypse and Full Throttle, stick around Six Flags Magic Mountain for Star-Spangled Night on July 4. The holiday spectacular will light up the sky with fireworks as patriotic music plays through the park after dark this Independence Day.
Jaws - Vidiots
Is it really Fourth of July without a Jaws sighting? Vidiots hosts two holiday screenings of Steven Spielberg's blockbuster. Catch it at either 1 p.m. or 4:30 p.m.
City Cruises: Premier Brunch Cruise
Taking place in Marina del Rey from 11am to 1pm, the 4th of July Premier Brunch Cruise offers views of LA's spectacular beaches, Burton W. Chace Park and delightful sea life. Included in your ticket is an ample brunch buffet, unlimited mimosas and live entertainment.

Mr. & Ms. Muscle Beach
World-famous Muscle Beach in Venice hosts its annual Mr. and Mrs. Muscle Beach competition on Fourth of July. Open to all amateur athletes, registration for the competition begins at 7 a.m., with pre-judging at 10 a.m. and the finals at 1 p.m.
76th Annual July 4th Spectacular - Cabrillo Beach
Organized by the Cabrillo Beach Boosters, the 76th Annual John Olguin Fireworks Show features music, family activities and food trucks, leading up to a spectacular fireworks show at Cabrillo Beach!
July 4th Fireworks Extravaganza - Warner Park
With one of the most spectacular fireworks displays in Southern California, Councilmember Bob Blumenfield’s July 4th Extravaganza celebrates our nation’s birthday with a free concert and a dazzling 20-minute fireworks display, accommodating up to 40,000 people at Warner Park. This year's event includes a performance from Doctor Wu, playing the music of Steely Dan, and VIP ticket upgrades are available.

Ronald Reagan Library 4th of July Celebration
