The Sparks take on the WNBA’s newest team, the Golden State Valkyries, at Crypto.com Arena on Monday, June 9, for the team’s third game in the Commissioner’s Cup tournament. This is also the team’s only home game for this week.

Tyler Childers current tour brings together eclectic lineups that vary from city to city. In Los Angeles, the platinum selling country artist heads to the Hollywood Bowl on Tuesday, June 10 with support from Robert Earl Keen and New Jersey-based meditation music outfit SOMA.

In mid-May, Tune-Yards released their funky, dance floor-friendly sixth album, Better Dreaming. The Northern California duo heads to Los Angeles on Wednesday, June 11, where they’ll headline The Bellwether with support from Kassa Overall.

Led by singer Annie Caldwell and guitarist Willie Joe Caldwell, who have been married to each other for 50 years, Annie & the Caldwells is the Mississippi disco, gospel family band that has been earning rave reviews since the release of their album Can’t Lose My (Soul) earlier this year. Catch them live at Zebulon on Wednesday, June 11, with support from Moor Mothers and Gabriels handling DJ duties.

With a new album, Rushmere, out now, Mumford & Sons bring their current U.S. tour to the Hollywood Bowl on Thursday, June 12. British indie duo Good Neighbours, who released their self-titled debut album last fall, will open the night.

The Los Angeles Ballet’s weekend-long run of Cinderella at Hollywood’s Dolby Theatre begins on Thursday, June 12. Sergei Prokofiev’s beloved score will be performed by a live orchestra and the production features choreography by Edwaard Liang, the renowned artistic director of the Washington Ballet. The performance is 130 minutes with two intermissions.

Mau5trap’s We Are Friends residency at Sound continues on Thursday, June 12. This month’s guests have yet to be announced, but previous installments of the residency from Deadmau5’s label have sold out, so consider snapping up tickets as soon as possible.

Pattie Gonia, the critically acclaimed drag performer and nature advocate, brings their environmentally-themed show, Save Her!, to Los Angeles on Friday, June 13. Special guests include Sequoia, Vera!, Nini Coco, Jacob Ostler and LA-area drag artists. Meet-and-greet tickets are also available for this one-night-only event at The Bellwether.

The World Champion Dodgers are hosting the rival San Francisco Giants for the annual LGBTQ+ Pride Night at Dodger Stadium on Friday, June 13! The pregame party will take place in the Right Field Pavilion; first pitch is scheduled for 7:10pm. This special event ticket package includes a ticket to the game and an exclusive Dodgers LGBTQ+ jersey. NOTE: This is not a stadium-wide promotion, only fans that purchase the Pride Night Package will receive the jersey.

“A More Perfect Union: The Films of Robert Minervini” begins on June 13 with the Los Angeles premiere of the director’s 2024 Civil War film, The Damned, which won the Best Director award at Cannes last year. Minervini is scheduled to appear in person at the screening at 2220 Arts + Archives. The retrospective of his films will continue through June 23 with screenings at both 2220 Arts + Archives and Brain Dead Studios.

The popular queer party, Lez Croix, returns for Pride on Friday, June 13 at El Cid. Mz Neon performs live and guest DJ Azure joins residents Romy and Your Muther on the decks.

Christian Bradford, Tremblay, House Zaddy and surprise guests will take to the decks for the Deep House Brunch Pool Party at Golden Hour at Level 8. Table reservations are available for the Saturday, June 14 bash.

Juneteenth comes early to BMO Stadium, where the celebrations take place on June 14 when Angel City FC plays the North Carolina Courage. The Saturday night match also includes a special Chargers package featuring a silipint cup collab between the two teams.

This year marks the 30th anniversary of Showgirls, the Paul Verhoeven-directed cult classic that transformed Elizabeth Berkley from Saved By the Bell star to camp icon. The Saturday night outdoor screening on June 14 is also Cinespia’s annual Pride event.

Head to Glendale’s Alex Theatre on Saturday, June 14, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Pee-Wee’s Big Adventure. This screening of the 1980s classic will include a string quartet tribute to the Danny Elfman-composed score. E.G. Daily, Diane Salinger, Billy Weber and Stephen & Edward Chiodo will be on hand for a panel moderated by Dana Gould. This screening benefits Stand Up to Cancer!

Prepare for a night of bangers when West Coast festival favorites Justin Martin and Destructo play Sound all night on Saturday, June 14. The heavy-hitters are sure to draw a crowd, so don’t wait until the last minute to secure tickets and contact the venue if you’re interested in a table reservation.

Sidepiece, the duo that scored a GRAMMY nomination for their collaboration with Diplo, “On My Mind,” headline Day Trip in the Park on Sunday, June 15. Joining them will be Jackie Hollander and Lovra. Party starts at 2pm on the promenade at Los Angeles State Historic Park.

With a new single, “Click Bait,” out now, influential cross-genre singer JMSN headlines three nights at Zebulon this weekend. Tickets for the shows on Friday and Saturday are sold out, but at the time of writing, tickets remain for Sunday, June 15. Note that this show will include new, unreleased material andphones will be secured in Yondr pouches that guests can keep on their person.
