On June 23, the Hollywood Fringe Festival continues into its final week of this year’s alternative theater event, while Atlético de Madrid and Botafogo face off in the Rose Bowl’s penultimate FIFA Club World Cup match for this year. Later in the week, The Weeknd begins his run of concerts at SoFi Stadium and the Boston Ballet’s production of Swan Lake opens at Dorothy Chandler Pavilion.

The weekend of June 27 kicks off with the 2025 NHL Draft at Peacock Theater and the Grease Sing-a-Long at the Hollywood Bowl. On Saturday, Purple Disco Machine headlines The Shrine, Matthew Dear and Juan Maclean play a back-to-back DJ set at Lodge Room and Dum Dum Fest goes down at The Echo, while rising star Ivan Cornejo plays the first of two nights at Kia Forum. On Sunday, LA State Historic Park hosts two dance music events, with Kerri Chandler headlining Day Trip in the Park on the promenade in the afternoon and Martin Garrix playing that evening. Hollywood Fringe Festival (June 23-29)



The 15th annual Hollywood Fringe Festival enters its final week on June 23. With more than 400 performances at theaters in and around Hollywood, the celebration of alternative theater boasts performances for a variety of interests and age groups. FIFA Club World Cup continues into the week of June 23 when Atlético de Madrid and Brazilian soccer club Botafogo go head to head at Rose Bowl Stadium in a match that starts at noon.

FIFA Club World Cup: Urawa Reds vs. CF Monterrey (June 25)



The last of six FIFA Club World Cup matches to take place at Rose Bowl Stadium will see Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds face off against Mexico’s CF Monterrey on Wednesday, June 25 at 6pm.

The Weeknd - SoFi Stadium (June 25-26 & 28-29)



The Weeknd is bringing his After Hours Til Dawn tour, featuring music from Hurry Up Tomorrow, After Hours and Dawn FM as well as earlier hits, to SoFi Stadium for four nights, beginning on Wednesday, June 25. Boston Ballet’s production of Swan Lake opens at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday, June 26, for a weekend-long engagement that includes matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday. These performances, which include a live orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s score, are recommended for ages 8 and older.

2025 NHL Draft - Peacock Theater (June 27-28)



The NHL Draft will take place on June 27 and June 28 and you can watch the excitement in person at Peacock Theater inside L.A. LIVE, where the cream of the crop of 2025 National Hockey League prospects will be in attendance. Round 1 starts at 4pm on Friday, while rounds 2 through 7 start at 9am Saturday. Doors open an hour prior to the start of the event.

EMF kickstarted the 1990s with the global hit “Unbelievable.” More recently, they collaborated with Stephen Fry on the single “Hello People.” Spacehog, known for their mid-90s hits “In the Meantime” and “Cruel to Be Kind” recently reconvened for this co-headlining tour, which hits the Regent Theatre on Friday, June 27. This year, local synthpop outfit Male Tears lead a lineup that also includes Cameron Romance, Twolips, Flatwaves, Izzy Outerspace, Scimitar, Glitter Ghost and Spiral Teeth, plus DJs Taleen Kali and Ann Eliza.
