The 15th annual Hollywood Fringe Festival enters its final week on June 23. With more than 400 performances at theaters in and around Hollywood, the celebration of alternative theater boasts performances for a variety of interests and age groups. FIFA Club World Cup continues into the week of June 23 when Atlético de Madrid and Brazilian soccer club Botafogo go head to head at Rose Bowl Stadium in a match that starts at noon.

In early June, David J (Bauhaus, Love and Rockets) released both a new album, The Mother Tree; and a poetry book, Rhapsody, Threnody & Prayer. The last of six FIFA Club World Cup matches to take place at Rose Bowl Stadium will see Japan’s Urawa Red Diamonds face off against Mexico’s CF Monterrey on Wednesday, June 25 at 6pm.

The Weeknd is bringing his After Hours Til Dawn tour, featuring music from Hurry Up Tomorrow, After Hours and Dawn FM as well as earlier hits, to SoFi Stadium for four nights, beginning on Wednesday, June 25. Dierks Bentley, the country singer who recently launched the Broken Branches fund to support mental health resources for musicians, brings his current tour to Intuit Dome on Thursday, June 26 with opening acts Zach Top and The Band Loula. Tickets at Ticketmaster.

Boston Ballet’s production of Swan Lake opens at The Music Center's Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on Thursday, June 26, for a weekend-long engagement that includes matinee performances on Saturday and Sunday. These performances, which include a live orchestra playing Tchaikovsky’s score, are recommended for ages 8 and older.

The NHL Draft will take place on June 27 and June 28 and you can watch the excitement in person at Peacock Theater inside L.A. LIVE, where the cream of the crop of 2025 National Hockey League prospects will be in attendance. Round 1 starts at 4pm on Friday, while rounds 2 through 7 start at 9am Saturday. Doors open an hour prior to the start of the event.

EMF kickstarted the 1990s with the global hit “Unbelievable.” More recently, they collaborated with Stephen Fry on the single “Hello People.” Spacehog, known for their mid-90s hits “In the Meantime” and “Cruel to Be Kind” recently reconvened for this co-headlining tour, which hits the Regent Theatre on Friday, June 27. You know every word to “Summer Nights” and have perfected your karaoke performance of “Hopelessly Devoted to You,” so raise your voice at the Hollywood Bowl on Friday, June 27, for the Grease Sing-a-Long, where audience participation is a must at this celebration of the blockbuster musical.

German DJ/producer Purple Disco Machine has lit up dance floors with high-profile remixes for everyone from the Human League to Lizzo and originals like “Body Funk” and his recent collab with Alison Goldfrapp, “Dream Machine.” Catch him at the Shrine Expo Hall on Saturday, June 28, as the headliner for what promises to be a nu-disco extravaganza with a DJ set from Roosevelt and performances from The Magician and Kiinjo.

Matthew Dear and Juan Maclean, two heavy-hitters for fans of underground dance music, will go back-to-back on the decks at Lodge Room on Saturday, June 28. Warming up the crowd will be local Remy Marc (Machine Club).

Dum Fum Fest, the mixed-genre, indie music and zine festival, is back at The Echo for its third edition. This year, local synthpop outfit Male Tears lead a lineup that also includes Cameron Romance, Twolips, Flatwaves, Izzy Outerspace, Scimitar, Glitter Ghost and Spiral Teeth, plus DJs Taleen Kali and Ann Eliza. Mariachi USA is back at the Hollywood Bowl on Saturday, June 28. The 36th annual installment of the festival includes performances from Mariachi Nuevo Tecalitlán, Mariachi Los Camperos, Mariachi Los Galleros de Danny Rey, Mariachi Internacional de México de Francisco Jara and Mariachi Lindas Mexicanas.

Ivan Cornejo, the Spanish indie rock sensation from Riverside, is playing Kia Forum on Saturday, June 28 and Sunday, June 29. Tickets are going fast for both shows.

After a successful debut event last fall, Analog Outlaw Books & Record Fair returns on Saturday, June 28. This time around, the event hosted by locals Bibliomancers and Nooners Books will be held at 2220 Arts + Archives, a larger space to make room for a wide array of vendors, from indie publishers to rare book dealers.

Veteran house DJ and Kaoz Theory label owner Kerri Chandler headlines Day Trip in the Park on Sunday, June 29. The afternoon bash on the promenade at Los Angeles State Historic Park will also include Mason Collective, Jaden Thompson and Lupe Fuentes. The party starts at 2pm.

Superstar DJ Martin Garrix has already sold out his Friday and Saturday night shows, so act fast if you want to catch him on stage for the third and final night of his run at Los Angeles State Historic Park on Sunday, June 29.
