Coming Soon: The Best of LA June 16-22, 2025

LA's largest performing arts festival, Hollywood Fringe features nearly 2,000 performances running both in-person throughout Hollywood as well as via livestream. The festival continues its run at various LA theatres throughout the week of June 16. While we've highlighted a few of those performances here, there is certainly a lot more to see, so check the Hollywood Fringe website for more information.
The week of June 16 is also a big one for concerts. Post Malone and Shakira are both scheduled to play SoFi Stadium, while Wu-Tang Clan brings their final tour to Crypto.com Arena and Fuerza Regida makes their Hollywood Bowl debut. On the festival front, dance music weekender Day Trip Festival takes over the Queen Mary Waterfront on June 21 and 22 and KCRW’s summer festival series begins at the Hollywood Bowl on Sunday, June 22. Bloomsday 2025 - Hammer Museum (June 16)
Bloomsday is the worldwide annual performance of dramatic readings from James Joyce’s novel Ulysses. Directed by Elizabeth Dennehy with musical direction from Victoria Kirsch, the event, which celebrates its 16th year at the Hammer Museum, is free and seating is first come, first served. The box office opens one hour before the start of the event.

Dodgers vs. Padres - Dodger Stadium (June 16-18)
The Dodgers series against the Padres begins on Monday, June 16 at Dodger Stadium. The first of four games against San Diego is also Blake Snell bobblehead night, with the giveaway available for the first 40,000 ticketed fans to enter the stadium. Promotions for the rest of the series include World Series replica trophies on June 17 and gold player jerseys on June 18.

LA Sparks vs. Seattle Storm - Crypto.com Arena (June 17)
Catch the Sparks on their home court Tuesday, June 17, when LA’s WNBA stars take on the Seattle Storm at Crypto.com Arena. Tipoff time is 7pm.

"Parade" - Ahmanson Theatre (Jun. 17 - Jul. 12)
The Tony Award-winning revival of Parade heads to Los Angeles in June. Presented by Center Theatre Group at the Music Center’s Ahmanson Theatre, the beloved musical, directed by Michael Arden, will hold a preview performance on Tuesday, June 17. Opening night is Wednesday, June 18 and performances will run through July 12.

LA Sounds of Summer Festival - WDCH (June 17)
Los Angeles Symphonic Winds, California State University Northridge Youth Philharmonic and Orquesta Guadalupana Baja California will perform at this year’s Los Angeles Sounds of Summer Festival. The 2025 installment of this annual event takes place at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Tuesday, June 17 at 7pm.

Rhiannon Giddens: American Tunes - Hollywood Bowl (June 18)
In a one-night-only event, Rhiannon Giddens brings the history of American folk— everything from string bands to bluegrass to folk revival— to the Hollywood Bowl. Playing alongside the GRAMMY Award winner and her Old Time Revue are Our Native Daughters, Steve Martin, Alison Brown, Allison Russell, Ed Helms, Leyla McCalla, Rainbow Coalition and Amethyst Kiah.

Post Malone - SoFi Stadium (June 19)
Post Malone brings The Big Ass Stadium tour to SoFi Stadium on Thursday, June 19. Joining him in Inglewood are Jelly Roll, Wyatt Flores and Chandler Walters. Tickets are on sale at Ticketmaster, with multiple VIP packages available.

Ms. Tucker Will See You Now - Los Angeles LGBT Center (June 19)
Playwright and actor Laural Meade performs as early 20th century vaudeville legend Sophie Tucker in Ms. Tucker Will See You Now, a cabaret-style show filled with bawdy humor and audience interaction. Thursday, June 19, is one of seven performances taking place at the Los Angeles LGBT Center during Hollywood Fringe.

Dodgers vs. Nationals - Dodger Stadium (June 20-22)
The Dodgers go up against the Washington Nationals for the second time this season beginning Friday, June 20. The three-game home stand includes a drone show on Friday; an Ice Cube Bobblehead giveaway on Saturday; and the ever-popular Kids Run the Bases on Sunday.

Pixies - Hollywood Palladium (June 20)
With a new album, The Night the Zombies Came, out now, indie rock favorites the Pixies are back on tour with two nights at Hollywood Palladium. Saturday’s show is already sold out, so get tickets for Friday, June 20, if you want to see these legends live. Tickets at Live Nation.

Lyle Lovett & His Large Band - The Orpheum (June 20)
GRAMMY-winning country singer Lyle Lovett is hitting the road across the U.S. this summer. Lovett and His Large Band are headlining Downtown LA's historic Orpheum Theatre on Friday, June 20. Tickets at Ticketmaster.

Goth Pride - The Echoplex (June 20)
Nightmare Market LA and Lesbian Goth Night present the third annual Goth Pride night on Friday, June 20 at the Echoplex. Live performances from I Speak Machine, Medlamor, Donzi and Yama Uba; plus DJ sets from locals Sulkform and Marie Nyx at this 18+ event. Tickets at Ticketmaster.

OMD - Greek Theatre (June 20-21)
OMD, the seminal synthpop duo who became bona fide ‘80s pop stars thanks to hits like “Secret” and “If You Leave,” will play two nights at the Greek Theatre - Friday, June 20 and Saturday, June 21. Tickets at Ticketmaster.

Snakehips - Golden Hour (June 21)
Minimal Effort's rooftop poolside series, Float welcomes British duo Snakehips, known for their 2015 hit “All My Friends,” on Saturday, June 21 for a DJ set at Golden Hour at Level 8 in Downtown LA. The party starts at 2pm!

Day Trip Festival - Queen Mary Waterfront (June 21-22)
Taking place at the Queen Mary Waterfront on June 21 and 22, the Day Trip Festival boasts a stacked lineup with some of the most recognizable names in the DJ world, from Armand Van Helden to Eli Brown and many more. Both single and two-day passes are available.

Fuerza Regida - Hollywood Bowl (June 21)
Fuerza Regida's take on regional Mexican music has catapulted them up the Billboard charts, where their latest album 111xpantia debuted at number 2 in May. The San Bernardino group will make their Hollywood Bowl debut on Saturday, June 21. Gates open two hours before the 8pm showtime.

"Ferris Bueller's Day Off" - Hollywood Forever (June 21)
On Saturday, June 21, Cinespia presents Ferris Bueller's Day Off at the famed Hollywood Forever cemetery. Gates open at 7:15pm for the 9pm screening.

Wu-Tang Clan – Crypto.com Arena (June 22)
Hip-hop legends Wu-Tang Clan are trekking across the U.S. one last time and tickets are running low to catch The Final Chamber tour when it hits Crypto.com Arena on Sunday, June 22. VIP packages include entrance to the Shaolin Temple, which is where you’ll find the Wu-Tang Forever Time Capsule, where fans can leave mementos of the band. Special guests for the concert are Run the Jewels. Tickets at AXS.

Twin Tribes - The Wiltern (June 22)
Darkwave Texans Twin Tribes, whose 2024 album, Pendulum, quickly became a favorite of the goth crowd, embark on the second leg of their Darker Skies tour this June. Tickets are already running low for their June 22 date at The Wiltern, which includes support from TRAITRS, Forever Grey and Soft Vein. TIckets at Live Nation.

Wizkid with Color of Noize Orchestra - Hollywood Bowl (June 22)
KCRW’s summer festival series returns to the Hollywood Bowl beginning Sunday, June 22. Wizkid, the Nigerian singer and songwriter behind songs like “One Dance” and “Essence” will perform with the Color of Noize Orchestra conducted by Derrick Hodge. Shenseea opens the show and KCRW’s Novena Carmel hosts.
