Though it’s not a legal holiday anywhere in the U.S., St. Patrick’s Day is a festive celebration of Irish and Irish American culture that’s been observed in North America since before the American Revolution. On Tuesday, March 17 expect to see the traditional color of green splashed across Los Angeles as bars and restaurants offer Irish food, music, and of course plenty of Guinness and Irish whiskey. Read on for St. Patrick’s Day events in Los Angeles, and as always remember to celebrate responsibly.
The following events are 21 and over and take place on March 17 unless otherwise noted.
The Tam O’Shanter
Opened in 1922, the Tam O’Shanter (2980 Los Feliz Blvd, Los Angeles 90039) is known as the oldest restaurant in LA that’s operated by the same family in the same location.
The Tam is hosting its annual St. Patrick's Day celebration from 11 a.m. until midnight on Tuesday, March 17. The event includes live music beginning at 3 p.m., an outdoor bar, green beer and Tullamore Dew giveaways. Corned beef and cabbage specials will be available in the dining room, while the pub will serve up brisket, turkey and corned beef sandwiches. There's a $10 cover for those who don't have a reservation inside.
Seven Grand
Located above the bustling 7th Street corridor, Seven Grand (515 W 7th St #200, Los Angeles 90014) has been Downtown LA's whisk(e)y mecca since 2007. On St. Patrick's Day, 7G is pouring pints of Guinness, as well as Irish-inspired cocktails and, of course, plenty of whiskey.
Level 8 (Mar. 14)
Level 8 (1254 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles 90015), the spectacular dining and entertainment complex at AC/Moxy from Houston Hospitality, will morph into the Luck'd Up Pub on Saturday, March 14, from 3 - 10 p.m. The rooftop takeover features games, live entertainment, food and, of course, green beer and themed cocktails. General admission is $27.25 and includes one welcome drink.
Angel City Brewery (Mar. 14-15)
Located in the Arts District, Angel City Brewery (216 Alameda St, Los Angeles 90013) is celebrating St. Patrick's Day on Saturday, March 14, and Sunday, March 15, with green beer on tap and Irish-inspired food. Sunday's bash includes live music from The Merry Wives of Windsor and The Poxy Boggards from 3 -6 p.m. and DJs playing from 6 - 10 p.m.
St. Patrick's Day Faire - The Cat & Fiddle
Family owned since 1982, The Cat & Fiddle (742 N Highland Ave, Hollywood 90038) is celebrating St. Patrick's Day with Guinness and Harp specials (4-6pm) and a burlesque show at 8pm. The kitchen will be open from noon to 10pm, serving up St. Paddy's fare like Corned Beef & Cabbage, the veg-friendly Roasted Cauliflower, Corned Beef Sliders and Guinness Chocolate Cake. No reservations.
Tom Bergin's
Established in 1936, Tom Bergin's (840 S. Fairfax Ave, Los Angeles 90036) is celebrating 90s of St. Patrick's Day fun on Tuesday, March 17. They'll open at 6 a.m., with an Irish breakfast available until 10 a.m. Stop by throughout the day for beer, food, music and more.
The Original Farmers Market
The Original Farmers Market (6333 W 3rd St, Los Angeles 90036) celebrates St. Patrick's Day with authentic Irish food, green beer, and Glen the Bagpiper, who will be strolling the Market from 12:30pm to 3:30pm. The Market's first eatery, Magee's will be serving their famous corned beef, cabbage and potato plate throughout the day. Green beer, Guinness and other imported Irish beers will be on tap from E.B's and Bar 326.
Molly Malone’s
For nearly 60 years, Molly Malone’s has been a cornerstone of LA's vibrant live music scene. Nestled in the heart of the city, the family-owned venue is renowned for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and unparalleled dedication to showcasing incredible talent. The St. Patrick’s Day Celebration 2026 at Molly Malone's includes three bars, outdoor seating and Irish fare. Doors open at 9 am, Bagpipers start at noon, step dancers start at 12:30 pm and more live music begins at 5 pm.
Tonga Hut Spring Time Shenanigans (March 15)
The landmark Tiki bar, Tonga Hut (12808 Victory Blvd, North Hollywood 91606) has "Spring Time Shenanigans" in store for its annual St. Patrick's Day party on Sunday, March 15. DJ Tonga Tom will be on the decks, while Durango Tacos will provide the bites. Check out the art show, shop amongst local vendors and enjoy the drink specials beginning at noon.
Los Angeles Ale Works
Los Angeles Ale Works is celebrating St. Patrick’s Day at its locations in Culver City and Hawthorne.
