Though it’s not a legal holiday anywhere in the U.S., St. Patrick’s Day is a festive celebration of Irish and Irish American culture that’s been observed in North America since before the American Revolution. On Friday, March 17 expect to see the traditional color of green splashed across Los Angeles as bars and restaurants offer Irish food, music, and of course plenty of Guinness and Irish whiskey. Read on for St. Patrick’s Day events in Los Angeles, and as always please remember to celebrate responsibly.

The following events are 21 and over and take place on March 17 unless otherwise noted.
