Daley Padley, also known as Hot Since 82 is a British DJ, house music producer and DJ Awards winner currently based in Leeds, UK.He has been releasing music under the Hot Since 82 moniker since 2012. Padley entered the electronic music scene at a young age, beginning to frequent area nightclubs at the age of 14. His DJ education started at 17, playing 12–13-hour sets each Sunday at a club in his hometown (under his birth name). His residency soon became a top afterparty destination for clubbers in the area. As word got around, Padley's notoriety increased, resulting in a 2006 residency at Cream Ibiza in Amnesia under the banner of Leeds club Glasshouse. In 2010, Padley was attending an Ibiza afterparty when the music suddenly cut out. He plugged his iPhone into the party's speakers, and incidentally, one of his works-in-progress came on. Though Padley had admittedly not made the track with the intent of releasing it, reactions at the party were roundly positive, causing him to contact his friend Danish DJ/Producer Noir, who runs the record label Noir Recordings. Noir was impressed, and released it on his label. 'Let It Ride' came out on Noir Music on 5 September 2011, hitting number three on Beatport's deep house chart. Thus, Hot Since 82 was born.  Rising out of obscurity, Padley has recently been featured in a variety of widely popular electronic music media. After a year of releasing his music, Padley was featured on Pete Tong's Essential Mix show on BBC Radio 1 in August 2013, playing a 2-hour exclusive set. Soon after, Padley was commissioned for a remix of electronic music pioneer Green Velvet aka Curtis Jones' song 'Bigger than Prince.' The track was released in September 2013, and rose to Number 1 on Beatport's dance music charts. He released his first full-length album, Little Black Book, in October 2013 on Moda Black Records, featuring collaborations with Joe T Vannelli and Thomas Gandey, as well as remixes of Rudimental and Shadow Child. Padley launched his own imprint, Knee Deep in Sound, in 2014, on which he hopes to release music from up-and-coming artists with an underground "vinyl" sound. Electronic music website Dancing Astronaut ranked Hot Since 82 at No. 7 on their list of Top 25 Techno & Deep House Producers of 2013. In April 2014, Hot Since 82 was featured as Mixmag's cover story, with a recent mix of his featured as the magazine's 'cover mix.' Padley was featured on Pete Tong's Essential Mix in July 2015; playing a special full 3-hour recording of his set from ENTER at Space, Ibiza. Padley has toured in Europe and North America and has headlined many of the world's leading electronic music festivals, including Mr. Beanfields and WMC. In 2017, Padley was nominated for Producer of the Year at the Electronic Music Awards.   -- (Source: Wikipedia)

Hailing from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Tim Wu began his musical career as a classically-trained pianist and singer-songwriter, playing in bands in high school and college. Graduating from Harvard University, soon after taking his first desk job Wu realized that the corporate lifestyle was not for him, as he spent every waking hour producing music to keep himself sane. Finally embracing the ‘Elephant in the room’ that was his desire to break free from the monotonous 9-5 routine, Wu set his sights on the dance music sphere and Elephante was born -quite literally giving up his day job in order to hone his craft and make his mark as one of the most innovative dance music producers around today. In his short career Elephante has already amassed hundreds of millions of streams across his two independent EP's, I Am The Elephante (2016) and Glass Mansion (2018), and received support from the likes of Billboard, Entertainment Weekly, and Rolling Stone. He has appeared at major festivals including EDC Las Vegas, Electric Zoo and Hangout Fest, while also fulfilling his duties as a resident DJ in Las Vegas. He has sold out shows at historic venues such as Irving Plaza and The Regency Ballroom, and will be continuing to grow his hard-ticket footprint in Fall 2019.

When Kamasi Washington released his tour de force LP, The Epic, in 2015, it instantly set him on a path as a torchbearer for progressive, improvisational music that would open the door for new audiences to experience music unlike anything they had heard before. The 172-minute odyssey featuring his 10-piece band, The Next Step, was littered with elements of hip-hop, classical and R&B music, all major influences on the young saxophonist and bandleader, who exceeds any notions of what “jazz” music is.   Released to critical acclaim, The Epic won numerous “best of” awards, including the American Music Prize and the Gilles Peterson Worldwide album of the year. Washington followed that work with collaborations with other influential artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Run the Jewels, Ibeyi, and John Legend, and the creation of “Harmony of Difference,” a standalone multimedia installation during the 2017 Biennial at the Whitney Museum of American Art in New York City.   The fulfillment of Washington’s destiny begin when at age 13, Washington picked up his musician father’s horn and proceeded to play the Wayne Shorter composition “Sleeping Dancer Sleep On” despite never touching a saxophone or knowing how to play. After deciding to commit to his instrument, he became, lead tenor saxophone chair at the Academy of Music and Performing Arts at Alexander Hamilton High School,, where he started his first band—Young Jazz Giants—with pianist Cameron Graves, Thundercat, and Ronald Bruner, Jr.   Washington received a full scholarship to the University of California at Los Angeles, where he studied ethnomusicology. He recorded his first album with Young Jazz Giants during the summer following his freshman year. The quartet’s self-titled debut was dripping with maturity well beyond the players' collective age, and with Washington penning four of the album’s seven original songs, became a platform to spread the “now” sound of jazz all around the country.   Following his sophomore year at UCLA, Washington went on his first national tour with West Coast hip-hop legend Snoop Dogg, performing alongside some of the most talented young musicians in the country. Later that year, the young saxophonist joined the orchestra of Gerald Wilson, one of his biggest heroes. After graduation, Washington toured with Grammy Award-winning producer, singer and songwriter Raphael Saadiq, and later that year, returned to Wilson’s band on the album In My Time.   His mass appeal continues to grow drawing vibrant, diverse, multi-generational crowds to his shows at the world’s most prominent festivals such as Coachella, Glastonbury, Fuji Rock, Bonnaroo and Primavera.  A prominent journalist recently summed it up best when he wrote “in a millennium largely absent of anything new or captivating in the jazz idiom, Washington has just unleashed a musical hydra grounded in respect and intimate knowledge of the past and striking far out into a hopeful future.”  Next up for Washington is the highly anticipated Harmony of Difference EP, due for release this Fall and his sophomore album slated for 2018.
