LOS ANGELES INVITES FANS TO BEGIN THEIR FIFA WORLD CUP 2026 JOURNEY IN THE CITY OF ANGELS

Phase One of Ticket Sales Begins Today, Including the U.S. Men’s National Team Opening Match at SoFi Stadium
LOS ANGELES (September 10, 2025) – FIFA World Cup 2026™ is officially less than a year away and fans around the globe can now start the process to secure their seats. Los Angeles, recently ranked the No. 1 city for soccer fans, is set to host eight matches at the iconic SoFi Stadium, including the highly anticipated U.S. Men’s National Team opening match on June 12, 2026.

Secure A Ticket
Starting today, the first phase of FIFA World Cup 26™ ticket sales opens with the Visa Presale Draw, giving fans their first chance to secure seats. To participate, fans must register at FIFA.com/tickets and create a FIFA ID. Registered fans will receive updates on sale dates and details of the ticketing process.
Additional phases will roll out through the start of the event. Phase 2, the Early Ticket Draw, runs from October 27–31, 2025, with purchase windows scheduled from mid-November to early December. Phase 3, the Random Selection Draw, begins shortly after the Final Draw on December 5, when fans can apply for specific matches based on revealed group-stage matchups. Closer to the tournament, any remaining tickets will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis.
Join the Celebration
SoFi Stadium will host all eight Los Angeles matches, including three group stage fixtures, two Round of 32 clashes, and a Quarter-Final showdown. The U.S. Men’s National Team will take the field here on June 12 for its opening match, with an additional group stage game on June 25. Fans can also book a stadium tour to experience this world-class venue before or after matchdays.
The World Cup energy will extend well beyond the stadium. From June 11 to July 19, 2026, global soccer fans can enjoy 39 days of World Cup-related events across the city. Highlights include an official FIFA Fan Festival, along with additional Fan Zones to be announced throughout the region.
For those looking to watch with locals, Los Angeles offers countless soccer-friendly eateries and bars with nearly 40 LAFC-affiliated pubs, from La Chuperia in Lincoln Heights to The Sunset Room in Hacienda Heights. Global supporters also bring their passion to LA’s pubs and neighborhoods. From Barcelona fans gathering at Underdogs in Glendale, to Leeds United supporters at Britannia Pub in Santa Monica, to festive Mexican national team watch parties at La Cita Bar, Los Angeles taps into the World Cup spirit from every corner of the world.
