Dennis Woodruff tribute movie premiere I AM AN ALIEN and TRANS P.I.
The late great patron saint of struggling actors and filmmakers in Hollywood, Dennis Woodruff (Tom Green Show, Cold Creepy Feeling, Spaceman), will be honored and paid tribute to at the big screen theatrical Hollywood premiere of the feature-length documentary (and homage to both "My Dinner With Andre" and political debate shows), "I AM AN ALIEN" directed by award-winning cult filmmaker Ramzi Abed ("First Person Savior", "The Devil's Muse"), which also stars indie film cultural icon, Mark Borchardt ("American Movie", "Coven", "Cabin Fever 2") and pinup model, Sophia Jade ("City Full of Angels") who engage in a deep and often both hilarious and thought-provoking discussion about Hollywood, filmmaking, and the future of America and the artist's place in it and the world at large.
The screening will also include the comedic short film, "TRANS P.I." directed by trans filmmaker, Jayve Fleming, and also stars Fleming along with Dennis Woodruff and cult film actors and legends, Eric Spudic ("Night of the Bastard", "Creepies") and Olivia Barash ("Repo Man", "Tuff Turf").
This special film showcase takes place at 4pm on Friday, February 27th at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre in the heart of Hollywood, surrounded by the Walk of Fame that Woodruff was such a fixture of for decades.
The films are presented as Official Selections of the 2026 Golden State Film Festival in FILM BLOCK "K" (Friday, Febuary 27th 4pm), and tickets are available at the theatre on the day of the screening as well as online through the festival website at https://www.goldenstatefilmfestival.com/tickets
