The exhibition Photography and the Black Arts Movement, 1955-1985 shows how an incredible range of artists and activists used photography as a tool for social change. Meet some of the featured artists and special guests in the gallery to hear about the work in their own words.
Afterwards at 6:30pm, attend a screening of the documentary Horace Tapscott: Musical Griot followed by a conversation with the director, Barbara McCullough, in the Harold M. Williams Auditorium.
