L.A. Works’ MLK 2025 Volunteer Festival: Take Action to Support our Beloved Community
Honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at L.A. Works' MLK Volunteer Festival!
On Monday, January 20, join thousands of Angelenos at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for a day of service and connection. Support Dr. King’s vision of a Beloved Community through:
• Hands-on volunteer activities like assembling hygiene kits, STEM kits, food packets, creating blankets, building mosaics, and more to be distributed to nonprofit partners serving vulnerable Angelenos
• An area for families to engage in family-friendly projects
• Food trucks and a small business zone
• Live entertainment featuring the Freedom Singers, a Skid Row choir; Dr. Darnell Hunt, UCLA interim chancellor; DJs from The Wave; and more, hosted by Brandon Broady (BET’s The Xperiment)
• …and more!
Get inspired to take action and give back! Free and open to all ages.
When: January 20, 2025 | 12:30 PM – 3:30 PM
Where: LA Memorial Coliseum, 3911 S. Figueroa St., Los Angeles 90037
