A.I.M by Kyle Abraham
A.I.M by Kyle Abraham returns to the Carpenter Center’s dance stage for a deeply moving evening of contemporary dance repertoire, including 6 Lost Labors, the world premiere of a Carpenter Center-commissioned work by Paul Singh. In 6 Lost Labors, six dancers inhabit the six current labors of humanity: family, friends, work, war, the planet, and the self. The evening also includes Keerati Jinakunwiphat's work Someday Soon, exploring the delicate dance between celebration and transition. Also on the program are the stunning Show Pony (Kyle Abraham), Grey (Kyle Abraham), and Shell of a Shell of the Shell (Rena Butler)! Led by renowned choreographer Kyle Abraham, the company continues to celebrate diverse cultures with choreographic brilliance.
