On Sunday, May 13, restaurants across Los Angeles are offering lavish buffets and special prix fixe menus for Mother's Day. Read on for Mother's Day specials at L.A. restaurants, because every mom deserves nothing but the best.

71Above



One L.A.'s most acclaimed new restaurants, 71Above is the highest restaurant west of the Mississippi and features the elevated modern American cuisine of Chef Vartan Abgaryan. The prix fixe Mother's Day Brunch starts with fresh biscuits for the table, then first course options like avocado toast, smoked salmon tartine and sugar snap peas. Entrees include Eggs Benedict, shakshuka, crispy octopus, and flatiron steak & eggs. Pricing is $55 for brunch, and $30 for children under 12.

AKASHA & AR Cucina



Akasha Richmond and partner Alan Schulman are hosting Mother's Day Brunch and Dinner specials at their Culver City restaurants, AKASHA and AR Cucina. Available with the regular menu at AKASHA from 9am - 3pm, a la carte brunch specials include Egg Sardou (artichoke hearts, braised greens, poached eggs, sauce citron) and Avocado Toast with beet cured salmon. Beginning at 5pm, dinner specials include Spring Pea Soup, Market Greens & Chicories, and Warm Cauliflower Freeka to start; big plates like Market Fish and Grilled Lamb Chops; and Strawberry Shortcake for dessert. AKASHA is also featuring “Rosé All-Day Weekend” with 50% off all bottles of rosé from the wine list to celebrate with mom.

From 10:30am - 2:30pm, AR Cucina is serving Mother’s Day brunch specials like Frittata, English Muffin, and Salumi Tasting Board. Available 5:30-9:30pm, Italian-American inspired dinner specials include Beef & Pork Meatballs, Wild Mushroom Lasagna, Ora King Salmon, and Vanilla Bean Panna Cotta.

Baldoria



Spend Mother’s Day at Baldoria in Little Tokyo and enjoy a prix fixe menu for $32 per person, including an entrée, side, and bottomless mimosas or rosé, from 11am – 4pm. Entrées include thin-crust pizzas (vegan cheese available) and other favorites like Chicken & Waffle Tacos, Ciabatta French Toast, and Poached Pear Salad. All moms will finish their brunch with the choice of a complimentary glass of wine or ricotta cheesecake! Baldoria will be open regular business hours (11am – 10pm). As always, walk-ins are welcome.

Baltaire



Spoil Mom this Mother’s Day with a decadent buffet-style brunch at Baltaire from 10am - 4pm, featuring Executive Chef Travis Strickland's farmers market-inspired dishes. Priced at $85 per adult and $45 per child, the buffet includes carving station including prime rib, glazed Nueske ham and roasted spring lamb; shellfish tower, selection of breakfast favorites and pastries, salad assortment, desserts, and more.

BOA Steakhouse



The West Hollywood location of BOA Steakhouse will be offering a special Mother's Day Brunch Buffet from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., priced at $60 for adults and $25 for children ages 12 and under. The grandiose buffet includes a Full Seafood Bar, 40-Day Dry-Aged Carving Station, Custom Egg Bar, L.A. Street Food Station, and other brunch item favorites. A special Bloody Mary Cart will also be featured and priced at $16 per cocktail, featuring tableside building and garnish options including onions, green beans, shrimp, and Maplewood bacon. Priced at $15, specialty Mother’s Day cocktails will also be served such as Bubble & Flowers (sparkling rosé, elderflower foam, begonia vine, rose water dew) and Tea Time Mule (Blanton’s bourbon, chamomile tea, honey, fresh lemon & orange, ginger beer, chamomile buds).

The Santa Monica location will offer exclusive à-la-carte dishes set to include goat cheese baklava, avocado toast, crab cake, freekeh salad, smoked salmon panzanella, ricotta pancakes, brioche French toast, smoked short rib benedict, and foie gras scramble, among others.

Bourbon Steak Los Angeles



Located in the Americana at Brand, Michael Mina's Bourbon Steak is serving a three-course Mother's Day menu that includes cinnamon sticky buns for the table. Start with smoked salmon tartine, "bacon and eggs," or shredded kale salad. Mains include fried chicken, lobster eggs Benedict, the Blue Burger, Elvis' French Toast & Foie, or the Monte Cristo. Finish with a choice of ricotta doughnuts or LAMILL espresso coffee cake. Pricing for the prix fixe menu is $65 per person. For and additional $15, the Bloody Mary Cart will mix up this classic brunch beverage with a choice of vodka, tequila, mezcal or gin, built and garnished tableside.

Church & State



Celebrating its 10th anniversary this year, Church & State was one of the first restaurants to open in the now-thriving Arts District. The French bistro is serving a three-course Mother's Day menu that starts with a choice of shrimp ceviche or potato croquette. Entree selections include vegetable paella, striped bass, or jidori chicken breast. Finish with a seasonal fruit tart. Pricing is $45 per person. A limited a la carte menu will also be available.

Craft Los Angeles



Located in Century City, Craft is open for a rare Sunday brunch just for mom. The prix fixe brunch menu starts with first and second courses for the table, including assorted pastries, yoghurt panna cotta, smoked trout, and little gem salad. Main course selections include chicken sausage, pork belly sandwich, soft shell crab "Louie," diver scallops, king salmon, quail, beef short rib, and ricotta triangoli. Seatings are available 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m. and pricing is $65 per person. Children under 5 are free.

Citizen Beverly Hills will be open for Mother’s Day brunch in honor of all the wonderful moms. Highlights of the a la carte brunch menu include starters like house-made sticky bun, avocado toast, halibut ceviche, deviled eggs, and Caesar salad. Mains include chilaquiles, Eggs in Purgatory, fried chicken & biscuit, Citizen Brunch Burger, and Spinach Cobb Salad. For thirsty groups, Citizen is offering pitchers and punch bowls: Scorpion Bowl or Citizen's Cup. Moms will receive a complimentary Frozé and special chocolate treats from Sweet Lady Jane. Reservations are available from 11am to 3pm.

Faith & Flower



For Mother’s Day, Faith & Flower in Downtown L.A. will be offering brunch and dinner specials in addition to their regular menu. Brunch is served from 10:30am to 2:30pm and features Dungeness Crab Toast ($18) and Pasta Carbonara ($19). Dinner specials start at 5:30pm and include Ora King Salmon for $29 and Mignardies ($13).

FARMHOUSE



Newly opened at the Beverly Center, the "farm-traceable" restaurant, FARMHOUSE just launched a “seed-to-plate” brunch menu. Executive Farmer Nathan Peitso is offering a $45 prix fixe menu ($25/children) and à-la-carte dishes on Mother’s Day. Guests can choose from a selection of hyper-local ingredients in the form of peas and burrata salad and a breakfast pizza topped with fresno chilis. Main course options include pork belly eggs benedict, French toast with local bananas, fines herbes and goat cheese omlettes, along with steak and eggs. Additionally, the dessert offerings range from fennel-scented pavlova to chocolate pot de crème with passion fruit mousse to rhubarb clafoutis.

Fleming's Prime Steakhouse & Wine Bar



Fleming’s Steakhouse & Wine Bar is serving a three-course, prix fixe Mother’s Day Brunch starting at 10am. To start, choose from lobster bisque, Caesar salad or housemade burrata with prosciutto. Entree selections include Fleming's signature Eggs Benedict, cinnamon apple brioche French toast, steak & egg scramble, salmon Cobb salad, and porcini-crusted filet mignon. Desserts include New York cheesecake or creme brulee. Pricing is $50 per guest.

Fogo de Chão Brazilian Steakhouse - Los Angeles



The focus at Fogo de Chão is churrasco, the Brazilian art of roasting meats over an open fire. Brazilian-trained gaucho chefs continuously deliver a selection of meats that are carved tableside. Options include the signature picanha (a prime cut of top sirloin), leg of lamb, pork loin and chicken. The Market Table features fresh seasonal salads, vegetables, imported cheeses and cured meats. Brazilian side dishes such as pão de queijo (traditional Brazilian cheese bread), crispy polenta, garlic mashed potatoes and caramelized bananas are served tableside.

All Moms who dine at Fogo de Chão in DTLA or Beverly Hills on Mother’s Day (May 13) will receive a Dining Card good for one complimentary brunch, lunch or dinner (the Full Churrasco Experience!) on their next visit. The Dining Card is valid Sunday–Thursday from May 14 – July 12, 2018.

Geoffrey's



Whether you're in the dining room or on the patio, every table at Geoffrey's Malibu has a panoramic view of the ocean. Along with the spectacular coastal scenery, mom is sure to enjoy the three-course Mother's Day prix fixe menus for brunch and dinner. First courses include chilled cantaloupe soup, English pea soup with Maine lobster cake, summer watermelon salad, and braised beef belly. Mains include Geoffrey's crab cake Benedict, seared ahi tuna, pan seared day boat scallops, herb crusted salmon, grilled filet mignon, stuffed chicken breast, and miso braised tofu. Pricing for brunch or dinner is $85 per person and $45 for children 12 and younger (two courses).

Hinoki & The Bird



Normally closed on Sundays, Hinoki & the Bird will be open for a special Mother’s Day Brunch. Executive Chef Brandon Kida's a la carte brunch menu, only available that day, is grouped into sections: "Fun Bites" (hamachi sashimi, lobster roll, fried chicken, chilled English pea soup, hanami flatbread), "From the Market" (chopped salad, momotaro tomato salad, grilled avocado), and "Inspiration," with entrees like brioche French toast, steak & eggs, quiche, eggs Benedict, okonomiyaki burger, uni carbonara, and miso salmon.

Le Petit Paris



Spanning 8,500 square feet of the historic El Dorado Building in Downtown L.A., Le Petit Paris is a French brasserie that smoothly transitions from classic to modern throughout the expansive space. Served from 10am to 10pm, the three-course Mother's Day prix fixe menu starts with a choice of wild Burgundy escargots, lobster ravioli, goat cheese salad, or asparagus & quinoa salad. Entree selections include 48-hour braised lamb shank, organic chicken breast, roasted Mediterranean sea bass, and grilled portobello mushrooms. Pricing is $69 per person. A special $29 menu for kids under age 10 features tomato mozzarella or homemade pate, patty steak or roasted salmon, plus two scoops of ice cream for dessert.

Lucques



The flagship restaurant opened in 1998 by Suzanne Goin (named Outstanding Chef at the 2016 James Beard Awards) and Caroline Styne (James Beard 2018 Outstanding Restaurateur) offers a warm and inviting setting for a special Mother's Day Sunday Supper. The four course menu includes curried english pea soup, apricots and meyer lemon ricotta, choice of lobster chopped salad or glazed duck confit, and Charlotte Royale with berries and red fruit mousseline. Pricing for Mother's Day is $75 person. This is a ticketed event and advance purchase is required.

MAPLE - DESCANSO GARDENS (May 12-13, 2018)



Maple is a family-friendly culinary experience located at Descanso Gardens in La Canada Flintridge. To honor the changes of the season in the garden, Chef Philip Mack dishes up Modern American cuisine with traditional Southern and Mexican influences. For Mother's Day, Maple is serving a la carte specials such as lobster toast, jumbo lump crab cake Benedict, egg white Spanish omelette, Mother's Day peach & apple pancake, and Mother's Day fruit tart. The specials are available from 9am to 2pm Saturday, May 12 and Sunday, May 13.

Nerano

Nerano



The fourth restaurant from the Toscana Restaurant Group, Nerano in Beverly Hills is featuring an a la carte menu of Executive Chef Michele Lisi's favorite Italian dishes to celebrate Mother's Day. All-day specials include chilled heirloom tomato & basil soup, gnocchi with Maine lobster, gold leaf saffron risotto Milanese, sea bream fillet, grass-fed veal chop, and Torta della Mamma – Tahitian vanilla pastry cream with guanaja dark chocolate, pine nuts and powdered sugar. All guests (21 years and over) will receive a complimentary mimosa to celebrate the holiday.

Otium



Otium will be featuring a special Mother's Day brunch buffet with a raw bar and grill stations in their open kitchen for families to come together and treat mom to an unforgettable dining experience. The Mother’s Day brunch menu will include raw bar selections like shrimp cocktail and a tartare station (ceviche, kanpachi, squid, shrimp & avocado), along with signature favorites like fried chicken & cornbread, flatiron steak, Eggs Benedict, Pork Loin Pibil and more. Pricing is $60 per guest, $30 for children 12 years and younger.

Patina Restaurant



Located in the iconic Walt Disney Concert Hall, Patina and Executive Chef Andreas Roller offer an elegant Mother’s Day dining experience with an available kid-friendly menu to help introduce children to the world of fine dining. Served from 10:30 a.m. - 2 p.m., the three-course prix fixe menu offers starters like crudo tostada, shigoku oysters, corn bottoni, or panzanella. Main course selections include buttermilk fried quail, Chino Ranchers egg tartine, Scottish smoked salmon, Snake River Farms American wagyu beef ribeye, or red snapper. Finish with the featured Mother's Day dessert. The special Kids Menu features Buttermilk Pancakes, Jidori Chicken, and Greek Yoghurt Panna Cotta. Pricing is $70 per person, $35 for the Kids Menu (12 and under). A la carte dinner is available from 4pm to close.

The Pikey



The popular Hollywood English pub, The Pikey features local and organic dishes by Executive Chef Jaison Burke, who is offering a spring-focused Mother’s Day Brunch and Dinner. Brunch specials include Bananas Foster French Toast Brulée, Crab & Avocado Toast, and Old Bay Marinated Shrimp with Cheesy Grits. Brunch will include a choice of a complimentary Bloody Mary or Mimosa to all guests 21 and over - Bottomless Bloody Marys and Mimosas will be available for $15 per guest.

The weekly Sunday Night Roast will feature Slow-Roast Pork Belly and Roast Short Rib on Mother’s Day. Both dishes are served with roasted vegetables, crispy potatoes, gravy and yorkshire pudding. The roast dinner is available from 3:30 p.m. and is priced at $26 per guest. Pricing for the brunch and dinner specials are à la carte.

Redbird



Chef Neal Fraser is offering a special prix fixe Mother's Day Brunch at Redbird, his stunning restaurant in Downtown L.A. First course options include cornmeal waffle, spring pea and avocado soup, burrata salad, white asparagus, salmon pastrami, and Scotch egg. Second course selections include frittata, lobster cavatelli, halibut, Liberty duck hash, huevos rancheros, basque baked eggs and rack of lamb. Brunch will be available from 10am – 2pm. Pricing is $48 per person, and $19 for children 10 and under.

Saddle Peak Lodge



Nestled in the Santa Monica Mountains above Malibu, Saddle Peak Lodge is a warm, rustic retreat located in a romantic setting along a creek. Celebrate Mother's Day at Saddle Peak Lodge with a special three-course Mother's Day Brunch. The prix fixe menu includes starters like roasted apple salad, smoked salmon toast, or chilled pea soup. Entree choices include roasted Faroe Island salmon, Eggs Benedict, warm roast beef sandwich, thick cut quiche, and slow-cooked USDA prime beef rib steak. For dessert, choose from banana and huckleberry bread pudding, cappuccino pots de creme, or mini-chocolate brownies. Pricing for Mother's Day Brunch is $75 for adults. A two-course children's menu (age 12 and under) is $45.

Wolfgang Puck's flagship Spago Beverly Hills will host a Mother’s Day Jazz Brunch featuring singer Melissa Morgan from 10:30am to 2:30pm. The menu will include a three-course prix fixe menu including a gelato and bake shop. Guests will be able to supplement their celebration with an elegant Champagne Craft Cocktail & Tincture Bar upon arrival, flowers from LA Premiere, and Wolfgang Puck’s handmade chocolates. Tickets are $145 per person, and $65/child under 12.

Toscana & BAR Toscana



The Toscana Restaurant Group presents Mother’s Day in Brentwood with special holiday dishes created by Executive Chef Hugo Vasquez (Toscana) and Chef Justino Quirino (Bar Toscana). Tuscan Mother’s Day specials at Toscana include Homemade Tortellini with ricotta, black truffle, butter & sage; and a dessert of Profiteroles filled with Crème Chantilly & topped with dark and shaved white chocolate. Toscana also offers the seasonal Forno a Legna (Wood-Burning Oven Menu) along with the classic Dinner Menu that has made the restaurant popular with locals and visitors through the years. The price range for the à la carte specials is $14 - $82.

Next door, Bar Toscana celebrates mom with an appetizer of Spaghetti Squash with King Crab and marinara sauce; an Arborio Risotto with radicchio and gorgonzola sauce; and for dessert, a decadent Chocolate Soufflé served with vanilla ice cream. The specials and Stuzzichini Menu are complemented by a bar program with new Italian Spritzers and spring cocktails by Bar Manager Brighid Maguire.

Whiskey Red's



Boasting spectacular 180-degree views of the Marina del Rey Harbor, the family-owned Whiskey Red's is serving Mother's Day Champagne Buffet from 10am-6pm. Highlights include: Carving Stations (prime rib, rack of lamb, honey glazed ham), Made-to-Order Omelettes, Waffle Station, Eggs Benedict, Raw Bar (crab legs, peel & eat shrimp, mussels, clams), Salmon with Yuzu Sauce, Menudo, Chile Rellenos, Charcuterie & Cheese, Fresh Salads, Chocolate Fountain and Desserts, Kid Friendly Station, and more. There's also a flower for mom, a kid's card station, and a photographer. Pricing is $54.95 for adults and $24.95 for children.

Yamashiro Hollywood



The landmark Yamashiro Hollywood is featuring an a la carte Sunday Brunch on Mother's Day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Highlights include Yamashiro Eggs Benedict, Asian BBQ Ribs, Asian Crab Omelette, Blueberry & Yuzu Pancakes, Creme Brulee French Toast, Asian Chicken Salad, and Wagyu Burger.
