LAX FlyAway® Adds New Routes to Santa Monica and Hollywood
Seven days a week, FlyAway® buses offer convenient, affordable, regularly scheduled round- trips between Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and locations throughout the city:
- Expo/La Brea (Los Angeles)
- Union Station (Downtown Los Angeles)
- Van Nuys (San Fernando Valley)
- Westwood (West Los Angeles)
Two new FlyAway® bus routes for LAX are launching in Santa Monica and Hollywood this year. The FlyAway® buses will provide direct service to and from each of the LAX terminals.
The FlyAway® service at Santa Monica buses will be non-stop to LAX, picking up passengers on the east side of Main Street, north of Pico Boulevard at the Santa Monica Civic Center. The Santa Monica route launched on July 15, 2014.
The FlyAway® stop for Hollywood will be located on the east side of Vine Street, one-half block south of Hollywood Boulevard. The Hollywood service is scheduled to begin on Sept. 3, 2014. The FlyAway® bus from Hollywood will make one stop in both directions at the La Brea Station of the Metro Expo Light Rail Line.
All FlyAway® buses drop-off passengers on the Upper/Departures Level of each terminal at LAX.
At LAX, passengers board buses on the Lower/Arrivals Level in front of each terminal under the green "FlyAway®, Buses and Long Distance Vans" signs. Each bus is marked with its service location.
One-way fares for the two new FlyAway® bus routes are priced at $8.
