Record-Breaking Numbers for TMD Hotels
Since 2011, TMD hotels have gained increases in occupancy rates, average daily room rates (ADR), and RevPar (Revenue per Available Room). Most notably, TMD hotels outperformed Los Angeles County hotels and hotel sin the top 25 U.S markets in 2013, a trend that continued through the first half of 2014. Occupancy - TMD hotels on average saw an increase in the occupancy rate from 74.1% in 2011 to 79.8% in 2013, an increase of 7.7%. During the first 6 months of 2014 (January-June), TMD hotels on average saw an 80.9% occupancy rate, a 1.9% increase over the same period in 2013. ADR - From 2011 to 2013, the ADR for TMD hotels on average grew $18.94 to $148.96, a 14.6% increase. During the first 6 months of 2014 (January-June), ADR for TMD hotels on average reached $157.27, or 5.9% higher than in the first two quarters of 2013. RevPar - The RevPar for TMD hotels increased by $22.55 to $118.93 between 2011 and 2013, a jump of 23.4%. In the first 6 months of 2014 (January-June), RevPar for TMD hotels reached $127.21, an increase of 7.9% over the same period in 2013.
