Most importantly, this quarter begins the new ten year term of the Los Angeles Tourism Marketing District (TMD) which allows us to continue the strong momentum we have gained in building demand for TMD hotels through aggressive marketing and sales initiatives. As we look to the future, I encourage you to be actively engaged in discussions with hoteliers in your area and the marketing and sales teams of the LATCB which implements programming for the TMD. The Regional TMD hotel meetings – just two weeks away - provide a prime opportunity to share your thoughts with LATCB and hotel colleagues in your region. In case you have not yet RSVP’d, the full schedule of regional meetings is provided below. Your input and feedback are critical to building effective, innovative and productive plans for the future. I look forward to seeing you then.
