Beledo Mechanism featuring Chad Wackerman

Beledo is a well known all over the world New York/Uruguayan guitarist, also an accomplished jazz pianist. He toured in England, Spain, China, Indonesia, Canada, Bosnia, Brasil, Argentina, Chile and Uruguay. In the US He toured the north east with his band opening for Allan Holdsworth and with the legendary band Soft Machine as a bass player. His albums on Moonjune records feature Tony Levin, Gary Husband, Lincoln Goines, Randy Brecker, Adam Holzman, Stefon Harris and Kenny Grohowski. He was known in South America as a side man of Pat Metheny’s singer and percussionist Pedro Aznar, and Hugo Fattoruso’s OPA, the support band of the legendary album Fingers by Airto Moreira.

This time he will be presenting the long awaited association with the great Chad Wackerman in a quartet format featuring also vibraphonist Nick Mancini. They will be playing tunes from Beledo’s “Dreamland Mechanism”, “Seriously Deep”, “Flotando en el vacío” as well as Chad Wackerman’s “Legs Eleven” and new material that will be released on Moonjune Records next year.
