Workshop + Wine

Workshop + Wine is a fun evening of connection and art-making on the beautiful Inner-City Arts campus.

Come experience the high-quality instruction and materials that youth enjoy in the year-round programs we provide to empower their creativity! This event for adults 21+ will engage your innate artistic gifts in a hands-on activity.

Led by the talented teaching artist from our Creativity Lab, Jen Lathrop, this workshop will crank up your creativity! Automata, or mechanical toys, are whimsical and quirky sculptures that merge art and engineering. We’ll explore how simple mechanisms can create surprising movement as you design and build your own cardboard and wire sculptures.

Free parking is available at the Inner-City Arts visitors’ lot on Kohler St. (across from our campus, directly behind the post office).

Workshop instructions begin at 5:30 p.m.
Light happy hour snacks and a wine tasting will be included.
