Play Day Block Party

The LA84 Foundation will host its free Play Day Block Party on June 28, a community celebration with fun for all ages. West Adams Blvd. will be transformed into a sprawling two-street festival and packed with live music, 20+ sports activations, interactive games, LA’s pro sports teams, food trucks, mascots, giveaways and a joyful community spirit. A community mural capturing the fun of the event will be created by the Mural Workforce Academy, a program of Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory.
Play Day is held annually in celebration of the National Day of Play, which recognizes the transformative power of sport, play and movement in young lives – and its power to unite communities by encouraging belonging and connection.
