deiSogni: Pride

deiSogni: PRIDE
Descend Into the Inferno: A Queer Reimagining of Sin, Art, and Identity
Coming to Downtown Los Angeles' Arts District | June 26-27, 2025
Ring, ring. The new Renaissance is here.
From the intersection of immersive art, beverage, mythic performance, and LA's underground warehouse scene, deiSogni invites guests into a dreamscape of the collective subconscious — a surreal, sensory workshop unfolding in the Arts District, focusing on the first of the Seven Deadly Sins: Pride.
Conceived by Studio Dream Factory (led by Mike Chesbro, and Krisia Powell), in collaboration with multimedia artist Boli Tashi Studio (Simon Zhu) and fine art photographer Ventiko, deiSogni transforms Melt Warehouse's 5,000-square-foot space into a decaying Florentine palazzo, echoing the grandeur and mystery of Dante's Divine Comedy. This workshop explores our journey from the post-pandemic darkness and political turmoil, seeking cultural renewal through inspiration from Greek and Roman mythology and Renaissance art.
At its core, deiSogni: Pride asks a single, provocative question: Is pride a sin or a virtue? Seven artists enter limbo to explore this theme through immersive installations, theatrical performances, and enchanting sounds. Audiences experience looping monologues, rich symbolism, and interactive performances that echo the voices of Dante and Virgil, inviting them to shed their egos, question their identities, and explore humility within a shared subconscious dream. The evening transforms into a euphoric disco hosted by our partners at Melt Collective, sharing the dream with the community.
Pride marks the first chapter in an evolving workshop series. Each future installment will explore one of the seven deadly sins and expand a layered, interconnected story world. More than an art experience, deiSogni is a living mythology built by and for the queer and allied community. A space of transformation, not judgment. Virgil has that covered.
