Main Street's 'Summer Soulstice' Festival Returns June 21 With Music, Drag Bingo, Classic Cars, And Kid-Friendly Fun


Santa Monica’s favorite summer street celebration is back! The “Summer Soulstice”Festival transforms Main Street into a car-free, community-powered playground on Saturday, June 21, 2025, from 12 to 7 p.m. Free and open to all ages, this sun-drenched event features live music on two stages, PRIDE-themed Drag Bingo, beer garden, kids’ activities, a VW Classic Car Show, pet-friendly activations, and more.

FESTIVAL HIGHLIGHTS

- Live Music All Day – Two Stages
· Subaru Santa Monica Stage (Strand & Main)
o 1 p.m.: Beau LePaige
o 3 p.m.: Jane Fonda's
o 5 p.m.: Petty Theft
· Gerber Kawasaki Stage (Pier & Main)
o 1 p.m.: Hi My Name is Lana
o 3 p.m.: Manny B. The Kid
o 5 p.m.: Red Hot Tribute

- Make Music Day Performances – Sponsored by Ocean Park Association
· As part of the global Make Music Day celebration, a special stage will showcase local talent from noon to 5 p.m. featuring jazz, indie rock, soul, and singer-songwriter sets:

o 12 p.m.: Nick Kennerly (Multi-Instrumentalist)
o 1 p.m.: Marga Jayy (Jazz/Soul Singer)
o 2 p.m.: Sydney DeFranco & Friends
o 3 p.m.: Dogtown Prophets (Indie Rock)
o 4 p.m.: Little Spiral (Singer/Keyboardist)

- Honky Tonk Beer Garden
· 2 to 7 p.m. | Pre-sale tickets $15
· Complimentary goodie bag, drink tastings, and DJ MOZO spinning country hits.
· PRIDE Drag Bingo hosted by Miss Barbie-Q from 3 to 5 p.m.
This event is part of the City of Santa Monica's SaMo Pride celebration.

- Pump Station Kid Corner (12 to 5 p.m.)
· Super Soccer Stars, face painting, musical storytime, Q&A with Jennifer Agha-Khan, and more.

- VCA Pet Party & Photo Booth
· Celebrate furry friends with giveaways and pet vendors.
· Venice Paparazzi photo booth.

- VW Classic Car Show
· A vintage display of Westside car culture.

- Musicians on Call Booth
· Learn how live music is brought to hospital patients nationwide.

- Marina Del Rave at Edgemar Restaurant
· Chill courtyard vibes and deep house grooves from top West LA DJs.
