Explore the spiritual and sensory dimensions of light through sculpture, painting, and installation in Lumia: A Light Within, a solo exhibition by Armenian-American artist Seda Saar presented by Glendale Arts at ace/121 Gallery.

Rooted in geometric abstraction and inspired by Saar’s background in architecture and energy medicine, the works engage viewers in an immersive experience of color, reflection, and perception.

At the heart of the show are mesmerizing sculptural forms - Chroma Column, Aurora Nova - that refract and activate space with spectral energy. Saar's layered paintings, such as Chroma Waves and Chroma Synthesis, deepen this inquiry, inviting quiet contemplation and presence.

The exhibition draws on the legacy of the Light and Space movement while offering a contemporary, spiritually attuned perspective grounded in cultural memory and poetic abstraction.
