Ziyu Liu is widely regarded as one of the most outstanding and influential young Chinese pianists of the post-95 generation, a Prestige Award concert pianist, including the Giovan Battista Viotti International Music Competition, making him the first Chinese winner in its 70-year history. He has also excelled in competitions like the Van Cliburn, International Chopin Competition in Poland, and ARD, and he holds top placements in the International German Piano Award and the Città de Cantù International Piano and Orchestra Competition.
He is known for his unique artistic identity and has quickly become one of the most active and prominent rising stars in the classical music scene. In 2024, Liu launched a world tour titled “Outlook,” performing in major concert halls across nearly 40 cities worldwide, including New York’s Carnegie Hall, Vienna’s Golden Hall, and Beijing’s National Centre for the Performing Arts. His performances have garnered significant industry attention.
