In recognition of Mental Health Awareness Month, Phoenix House California presents Sober & Standing (Up!)—a powerful evening of laughter and purpose featuring top comedians in recovery. Taking place on Saturday, May 10 at the historic El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, the event showcases the healing power of humor with performances by Margaret Cho, Dustin Ybarra, Greg Baldwin, and Ally Weinhold. Through storytelling and stand-up, these comedians break stigma, foster connection, and raise funds to support mental health and substance use recovery for underserved communities.
