Holiday Krazy Krafts Day
International Printing Museum Hosts HOLIDAY KRAZY KRAFTS DAY
Carson, Calif. (Saturday, December 14, 2024) — Get into a festive holiday spirit this season at the International Printing Museum's Holiday Krazy Krafts Day! This is an annual favorite at the museum, celebrating the art of printing, paper arts, book making and more. It’s a creative day for all kids, and for the “kid” in all of us! Ongoing activities throughout the day will include letterpress printing of keepsakes, bookmarks & holiday cards, rubber stamping, papermaking, bookbinding, paper marbling, even screen printing a shirt. In addition, guests will enjoy tours of the Printing Museum, one of the world’s largest collections of working antique printing machines that highlights Gutenberg and Ben Franklin’s printing shops. The Society for Calligraphy will be lettering beautiful bookmarks for guests, Typewriter Connection will bring antique typewriters to use, and museum volunteers will demonstrate type casting on the Linotype machine of 1912.
