D23 X SFC PRESENT: MARY POPPINS (60TH ANNIVERSARY)

The Griffith Park carousel has been a part of Angelenos’ lives for decades. While being a historic landmark that has brought smiles and joy to millions during its operating days, it is ultimately famous for being Walt Disney's inspiration for Disneyland. The Merry-Go-Round has been closed to the public for years, but for one-night-only the gates will open for our MARY POPPINS 60th Anniversary special event presented by D23 and Street Food Cinema. Fans will be able to explore and photograph the stationary carousel while attending the event with this exclusive up-close look. Come out and see the artistry and craftsmanship of the wooden horses and ponies while listening to the original 1926 pipe organ fill your ears with songs of a bygone age.
