Surprise your loved ones with unexpected holiday gifts this year by hitting up one of this year’s holiday markets. From mid-November through most of December, events will be popping up across Los Angeles and in nearby suburbs to bring a wide variety of goods from indie businesses to holiday shoppers.

Aside from being one-stop shops, L.A.’s holiday markets can help make gift-giving a bit more sustainable. These marketplaces focus primarily on local businesses and two of the events listed below are centered around vintage clothing and goods. Plan to spend a few hours browsing; most of the events listed here also have food and entertainment components.
