L.A. Tourism’s Marketing team reactivated the "LA ♥" staycation campaign just in time for the long Presidents’ Day Weekend, and we’re pleased to share that STR report from that week showed hotel occupancy was nearly 53% with room demand of 387,800 – just 9,000 room nights shy of our highest week dating back to March 20th, 2020. Thanks to those of you who have submitted offers, which are live thru June 30th.Looking ahead to the next phase in our recovery, marketing efforts to drive markets (San Francisco, San Diego, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Sacramento, Fresno, Santa Barbara, Palm Springs) will begin on March 15 and run thru May 15. Los Angeles will be introduced to six new short-haul flight markets and reintroduced to long-haul flight markets - which have historically had twice the ROI as short-haul markets - from April 15 thru June 10.
