Hotel Rooms Requested for L.A.'s Bid to Host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games

Frieze Los Angeles 2024
In L.A.'s bid to host the 2024 Olympic and Paralympic Games the LA2024 Exploratory Committee must guarantee 40,000 peak rooms per night, a requirement that must be fulfilled to the International Olympic Committee. L.A. Tourism is reaching out to TMD hotels requesting 65% of room capacity during the Olympic period and lesser percentages for other periods, but appreciate any rooms your hotel is able to provide. The IOC elects the 2024 host city in September 2017 – making this essentially a one-year guarantee. Even more, the host organization will pre-pay for the rooms on a rolling basis before the Games take place.Again, we appreciate your help and look forward to this competition with Rome, Budapest and Paris. LA2024 is all about what’s possible when you follow the sun!If you haven’t already done so, we would appreciate it if you could complete and return the hotel guarantee information template to Noah R. Balch (noah.balch@kattenlaw.com). With this information, Noah will revise the hotel guarantee letter agreement for signature by your hotel owner. If you have further questions, please feel free to call Kathy McAdams, VP of LATCB Sales at 213-236-2354 or e-mail kmcadams@latourism.org
