Neil Simon's RUMORS- A High Tea, Immersive Theatre Comedy

A night of High Tea and comedy is coming to Pasadena! Neil Simon’s uproarious farce RUMORS will be performed at the charming Madeline Garden Bistro beginning August 15th. 

Acted out in the living room of a Victorian mansion-turned-teahouse, this immersive theatre experience transforms Madeline Garden Bistro into a 1980s dinner party gone awry. Guests will eat a full high tea dinner while they enjoy a laugh-out-loud experience, and the only thing more ridiculous than the truth… are the lies trying to cover it up.

Set all in one night at (what was supposed to be) an upscale dinner party, four couples arrive to find their hostess missing, and that the deputy mayor has shot himself in the head. Arguments, misunderstandings, and flat-out lies ensue as each of the guests tries to get to the bottom of what happened. As secrets unravel and rumors fly, the evening spirals into absurdity in classic Neil Simon style. 

All admissions will include a full English high-tea meal with tea. Guests also have the option to upgrade to the VIP experience, which include a glass of champagne and a view from the best seats in the house!
