Every Thursday is Queer Art Hang at Nova Community Arts, a workshop series exclusively for adults in the LGBTQ+ community. This week, life drawing with Hand Follows Eye Studios is BACK!

Illustrators Mads Gobbo and Rachel K. Deane will lead a playful figure drawing workshop for artists of all skill levels & styles. We'll practice connecting the eye to the hand and using line and shape to construct lively figures in a series of brief exercises followed by long poses with a live model.

Sketchbooks and a variety of mediums will be provided but attendees are welcome to bring their own supplies. We will aim to draw manually rather than digitally.

This workshop is founded upon principles of respect and care for all bodies and may feature musical chairs, nudity and impeccable vibes.

Please note, this event is 18+ only.

This program is supported, in part, by the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors through the Department of Arts and Culture.
