See - Learn - Share! See beautiful dancers perform, learn, more about dance, and share your thoughts and questions about the dance art!

Have you ever wondered how dances are made? How do dancers magically change ideas into movements that express mood, image and story? On May 18, Benita Bike’s DanceArt will not only present you with a number of beautifully performed dances, but you’ll also be invited to ask questions and make comments about the work you see. We want to hear what you think!

Featured on this program are three dances. “Off the Path” is a quirky new work filled with fabric and surprising creatures. “Aspects of Me” is a series of solos and duets that include “Me and Myself,” “Me and the Branch, “Me and Her,” and “We.” “For Rose” is about the passing of choreographer Benita Bike's mother Rose. Stark and poignant, this dance touches on complicated feelings of love, discordance, and death.
