Rooftop Movies at The Montalbán 2024 Season

The Montalbán presents the 2024 season of its beloved Rooftop Movies at The Montalbán, beginning on Friday, April 5, and running through to November 2. The Montalbán selects films throughout all eras and genres, from classics to cult favorites, offering cinematic experiences under the stars. Located in the heart of Hollywood, The Montalbán’s rooftop is outfitted with a bar and concession stand, where guests can drink, socialize, and play games. Fresh food options, including vegetarian, are also available. The open-air movie theatre features a large projection screen, state-of-the-art projector, noise canceling headphones, and fresh-popped popcorn. Merchandise is available to purchase, including blankets for a chilly night!

Doors open at 6:00pm; Happy Hour runs from 6:00 to 7:00pm and offers $6 beer & wine specials and 20% off food purchases during the first hour; and each night’s screening starts just after sunset. The cost for regular admission is $20.00 per person and includes complimentary popcorn. A limited amount of loveseats—first come, first served—is available for $50.00, suitable for two guests. This package comes with two complimentary glasses of champagne and unlimited popcorn. Guests are encouraged to purchase tickets in advance online. Tickets are also available at the door.

Please be advised that access to the 4th-floor rooftop is via an outside staircase ONLY. There is no ADA-compliant access (yet), beyond the ground level, since this 90+-year-old venue does not have an elevator at this time.
