In addition to the Movie Stars’ Homes Tour - the longest-running celebrity tour in the world - Starline offers a wide range of sightseeing tours, including the Grand City Tour, 1-hour Hollywood Fun Tours, the TMZ Hollywood Tour and the new LGBT itinerary.

Starline Tours has partnered with Turner Classic Movies (TCM) to offer the exclusive Movie Locations Tour - L.A. to the public. The interactive, three-hour trip features more than 100 clips of movie scenes shot on location in and around Hollywood and Downtown Los Angeles, presented on a 65" screen. The custom-designed bus, with stadium seating and panoramic window viewing, is the only one of its kind.

The Movie Locations Tour combines the tour expertise of Starline Tours, the largest operator of its kind in Los Angeles, with insights and curation from the Peabody Award-winning Turner Classic Movies. The result is a unique tour that delivers a “rolling immersion into the movies” through the streets of L.A. that’s sure to please movie lovers of all kinds. In specially produced video segments, TCM’s on-air host Ben Mankiewicz, who shares his own family’s history of Los Angeles filmmaking, highlights L.A. locations used in current movies and memorable scenes from classic films.

The wide range of featured movies includes Modern Blockbusters (Transformers, Fast & Furious), Modern Classics (Aviator, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Pretty Woman, Speed), Evergreen Classics (The Graduate, L.A. Confidential, Ghostbusters, Rebel Without a Cause) Film Noir (Double Indemnity, Cry Danger) and Early Movies with Charlie Chaplin, Mae West and Laurel & Hardy.

The tour covers more than 50 past and present movie locations in Hollywood, Wilshire Boulevard, Downtown L.A., Echo Park and Silver Lake. The architecture and landscapes have portrayed the cinematic Los Angeles of the past, present and future, as well as New York, Miami and Tokyo. The tour includes two historic stops. The first one is the Bradbury Building, an architectural masterpiece built in 1893 that was prominently featured in The Artist, Blade Runner, Chinatown and many more movies. The tour also stops at iconic Union Station, the last of the great American railway stations, which has starred in dozens of films, including the classic noir film Cry Danger and blockbusters such as The Dark Knight Rises, Bugsy and Catch Me If You Can. Other tour highlights include Broadway - the location for dozens of movies including Transformers, D.O.A. and Safety Last - and world-famous Hollywood Boulevard, noted for The Italian Job, A Star is Born, Iron Man and many others.

The Movie Locations Tour is expertly guided by film aficionados who delight in teasing passengers with little-known facts and anecdotes. The guides give TCM-infused context to the movie clips being shown, while passengers view movie locations from a one-of-a-kind viewing bus with wraparound windows (including roof views) and plush stadium seating.

“The tour combines the best of two worlds – that wonderful 'glued to the TV' experience when one of your favorite movies is on TCM, coupled with being outdoors on a gorgeous Southern California day, with the color and culture of Los Angeles gliding past your window,” says Philip Ferentinos, Director of Starline Tours. “It is the perfect way for movie lovers to experience the magic of movie making in the very heart of the movie business, Los Angeles,” says Dennis Adamovich, senior vice president of digital, affiliate, lifestyle and enterprise commerce, TCM, TBS and TNT.

The Movie Locations Tour begins at the historic TCL Chinese Theatre IMAX® in Hollywood. Tickets are $75 for adults and $60 for youth (ages 3-11), including pick up from one of 250 hotels, or $60/$45 without pick up, with departure from the Chinese Theatre. The tour is offered year round, with additional tour times during peak season. Tickets and current schedule are available online at starlinetours.com
