Manhattan Beach Pier

Located at the end of Manhattan Beach Boulevard, the historic Manhattan Beach Pier is popular with locals and visitors alike - lovers, surfers, fishers and photographers. The sunsets and coastal views are simply breathtaking. Fun fact: what is now the Roundhouse Aquarium at the end of the pier was once the surf shop where Keanu Reeves buys his surfboard in "Point Break."

Gateway Plaza Fanfare Fountains - LA Waterfront

Located at the LA Waterfront, the Fanfare Fountains at Gateway Plaza are the largest water feature in Los Angeles and feature two 250-foot long fountains that span three quarters of an acre. Both fountains are synchronized to music and lights, with water streams that go as high as 100 feet in the air. The twin fountains are divided by a 12-foot walkway that sits a foot below the basin level of the fountain. A black granite infinity edge creates a waterfall over the basin ledge and into a trough flowing under the walkway, so you and your date will have an unforgettable experience of "walking through water."
