Kick Off Festival Season in Los Angeles

Many consider Coachella the holy grail of music festivals. Since its inception in 1999, fans from all over the world flock to the city of Indio for a weekend of sunshine, music and unique art installations. However, the fun doesn’t stop in the desert. Los Angeles is just as jam-packed with cool things to do that’ll get you in the music festival mood. Whether you’re passing through L.A. on your way to Indio or skipping Coachella all together, read on for some fun ideas to help you kick off festival season.

Sugarfish é reconhecida por sua menu "confie em mim", no qual porções bonitas e compactas de rolos nigiri estão sendo trazidos para a mesa como nós vamos comer. O arroz é tem sempre a temperatura e consistência correta eo peixe é sempre cremosa e suave. Este é apenas intenso - mas isso é apenas uma parte de todo o conceito. Um menu típico tem sete produtos, com um par de rolos feitos à mão e um pequeno prato de edamame orgânica. Eles também podem pedir outros pratos, se o desejarem, mas geralmente o menu que eles oferecem é mais do que suficiente.

Brokechella - April 18, 2015

You don’t need to drive all the way to the desert to experience the energy of a music festival. Brokechella is an independent music and arts festival taking place in Downtown L.A.’s Arts District on April 18. Now in its fifth year, Brokechella will feature more than 50 acts ranging from hip-hop to EDM and post-punk. There will be designated dog-friendly zones (Puppychella), food vendors and a wide array of art installations, photography and paintings throughout the massive event space. Tickets for this unique 21+ festival can be purchased online or at the door for $25.

The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books - April 18 & 19, 2015

For one weekend in April, people who love books will gather with people who love to write, publish and sell books for a celebration of literature unlike any other! The Los Angeles Times Festival of Books, the country’s largest celebration of the written word, comes to L.A. on April 18 & 19.
