Slamdance Film Festival - Multiple Venues (February 19 - 25)
Independent film festival Slamdance opens its second year in Los Angeles on Thursday, February 19, and will continue through February 25 with screenings at Director’s Guild of America, Landmark Sunset and 2220 Arts. Overall, 141 films are set to screen, including 50 world premieres. Head to the Slamdance website for festival passes.
Under the Skin w/Live Score - United Theater on Broadway (February 20)
Wordless Music and Sister Midnight launch a year-long series of A24 film screenings accompanied by live scores on Friday, February 20 with Under the Skin. Catch the 2013 sci-fi film, which stars Scarlett Johansson, with a 30-piece orchestra performing Mica Levi’s original score, at United Theater on Broadway.
Napoleon Dynamite Live! - Alex Theatre (February 20)
Jon Heder, Jon Gries and Efran Ramirez will be on hand at the Alex Theatre for the 20th anniversary screening of Napoleon Dynamite on Friday, February 20, which includes a Q & A session, audience participation and more. VIP ticket upgrades give fans the chance to meet the stars before the start of Napoleon Dynamite Live!
Sueño Perro - LACMA (February 22 - July 26)
Sueño Perro: A Film Installation by Alejandro G. Iñárritu opens at LACMA on Sunday, February 22. Celebrating the 25th anniversary of the lauded director’s debut feature, Amores Perros, the exhibition draws from over a million feet of film left on the cutting room floor to tell a new story.
Amores Perros - Academy Museum (February 22)
Coinciding with the opening of Sueño Perro at LACMA, director Alejandro Iñárritu will be on hand next door at the Academy Museum on Sunday, February 22, for a special 4K screening of Amores Perros.

Michael Shannon, Jason Narducy - Bellwether (February 19)
Actor Michael Shannon and musician Jason Narducy of Superchunk are on the road with friends and paying homage to R.E.M. with their live performance of the 1986 album Lifes Rich Pageant, known for the alt radio classic “Fall on Me.” The tour hits The Bellwether on Thursday, February 19.
Sudan Archives @ The Fonda (February 20)
Sudan Archives released her third album, The BPM, to critical acclaim last year. Now the L.A.-based artist brings her U.S. tour to a close at home when she takes to the stage at The Fonda on Friday, February 20.
Los Bukis @ SoFi (February 20-21)
After several years of reunion tours, and earning their star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last summer, Mexican band Los Bukis will play their final two concerts at SoFi on February 20 and 21. Few tickets are remaining for the Saturday night show, which was added due to the demand for Friday night tickets, so act now for your last chance to see Los Bukis live.
Missa Solemnis - Walt Disney Concert Hall (February 20 - 22)
For the first time at LA Phil, Gustavo Dudamel will conduct Beethoven’s rarely performed Missa Solemnis. See and hear the work that Beethoven considered his best at Walt Disney Concert Hall on Friday, February 20 through Sunday, February 22, where the Philharmonic will be joined by Barcelona Orfeó Català chorus.
Los Tigres del Norte - Intuit Dome (February 21)
Los Tigres del Norte bring La Loteria tour to Los Angeles on Saturday, February 2, when the multi Grammy-winning band plays Intuit Dome.

Romare - 1720 (February 19)

Big Black Delta - Bob Baker Marionette Theatre (February 20)
LA-based Big Black Delta has conjured a special set to perform on Friday, February 20, when the musician plays alongside Bob Baker Marionette Theatre’s cast of puppets.
Dialed Records - Santa Monica Pier (February 21)

The Harlem Globetrotters are celebrating the team’s centennial and the exhibition basketball stars will bring The 100 Year Tour to Intuit Dome on Friday, February 20. Ticket add-ons include a Magic Pass that allows for pre-game time on court, Celebrity Court Pass and Premium VIP Bench ticket.
LAFC - Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum (February 21)
